Former Finnish Pres: Blame Paris Attacks on Failure to Solve Palestinian Crisis

Former Finnish President second Scandinavian Public Figure to point finger at Israel for Nov. 13 Paris Attacks

Martti Ahtisaari, the 78-year-old former president of Finland, is now the second major Scandinavian figure to point a finger at Israel for being the source of ISIS terrorism. Ahtisaari announced to the world that the ISIS terrorist attacks on Paris which took place on Friday, Nov. 13, indeed, all of the current global terrorism now being committed by ISIS, is at least in part due to the failure of Israel to appease the Palestinian Arabs.

It first happened just a few days ago. Sweden’s minister for foreign affairs, Margot Wallström, was being interviewed by Swedish Television the day after the Nov. 13 terrorist attacks on Paris. Responding to a query regarding her concerns that young Swedes may become radicalized and turn to ISIS, Wallström suggested the cause lay in the Middle East, “where not least the Palestinians feel like there is no future for them,” according to Radio Sweden.

Wallström then went on to link the two situations by saying “They feel like they either have to accept a desperate situation or resort to violence.”

Erik Wirkensjö, Wallström’s press secretary said she was not linking the Israel-Palestinian Arab conflict to the terrorist attacks in Paris.

Maybe, maybe not, although that is exactly what is sounded like what she was doing.

But Finland’s former president Ahtisaari also tied the perceived hopelessness of the Palestinian Arabs and their brethren in the Middle East to the ever-increasing rise of terrorist-based radical Islam. This former Nobel Peace Prize winner nicely weds the guilt of Europe and its refusal to recognize the deserving needy Arabs, to the hopelessness giving rise to radical Islam. In that way, Israel, especially, but also Europe in general, bear ultimate responsibility for the terrorist attacks against the West.

According to the Finnish blog Tundra Tabloids, Ahtisaari says that youngsters have been radicalized in the Middle East partly because Palestinian Arabs have been treated badly:

Former President, Nobel Peace Prize winner Martti Ahtisaari says that Europe must pay attention to the reasons of radicalisation more than it does. European countries must get work and education for youngsters.Europe must pay attention to the reasons of radicalisation more than it does. European countries must get work and education for youngsters. The Arab Spring did not actually start in Tunisia, but in the suburbs of Paris. Advancing the Middle East peace process is crucial as far as European security is concerned. The Syrian peace process would give people hope of returning home. The question of Israel and Palestine must also be solved.

Okay, Sweden, now Finland. Should we take bets on who will be the next Scandinavian to blame Israel for the Nov. 13 Assault on Paris?

The reality is of course, that there is no connection whatsoever, nor was there any so called Arab Spring, it was an illusion.

Arab winter

Even if Israel had never existed, Arabs would still be mass murdering other Arabs, Jews would still be on the Islamonazis’ hit list and bombs would be going off in Europe and elsewhere. So the Arab’s continued war against the Jews has nothing to do with other conflicts around that region.

Concerning the nonsense about the “Arab Spring”, in order to have a fully functioning (small d) democracy, you first have to have a functioning civil society, in which ordered liberty secures the rights of the individual, like the one in Israel. The Jews were the only group of people in the Middle East that accepted the world’s first ever “democracy project” attempt in post WWI, during the Mandate Period. The Arabs still reject it to this day.

But Uncle Screw Loose thinks otherwise:

NOTE: This is the same dope whose CMI organization (Arab money funded) keeps pushing the Islam is peace bullcrap and religious dialogue scumbaggery. The latest political input from CMI was in top sharia peddler, Sheik Abdullah Bin Bayyah, in his visit to Helsinki on the 16th, Monday 2015.

Also, Ahtisaari is one of the so called “Elders” is a total disgrace, having brokered the Muslim breakaway state of Aceh which is now a sharia driven hell hole, and who was a special envoy to Kosovo, the birthplace of Serbian identity and over the course of a few decades, was taken over by Muslim Bosnians.

This UN hack former Finnish president (socialist) talks as if Finnish women have their uteruses automatically removed after the 1st or 2nd child.

Why is it that our political elite never, ever dare mention to society the need to procreate? I’ll tell you why, out of political expediency and hardened ideology. In order to have a welfare state, everyone (both parents) has to be at work in order to pay for all the utopian social services being offered willy nilly, and of course, since it’s utopian, it can never work.

Add to that the radical feminist input, the attack on the traditional family unit, and government (now become cultural) insistence on everyone working for the state (gee, you get to keep some of your wealth according to how some bureaucrat and temporary politician sees fit) and there you have it, we supposedly don’t have enough Finns to cover the economy. Never mind the fact that all of this socialist planning has created a systemic unemployed class, with the current unemployment figures hovering over 10% (we all know its much higher).

Ahtisaari: “Finland won’t survive without foreign labour”

The Nobel laureate and peace negotiator says he is worried about how Finland’s reputation is being hurt by calls to block immigration.

Former President Martti Ahtisaari has spoken out strongly in favour of a multicultural Finland.

On a visit to Oulu on Wednesday, the Nobel Peace Prize-winner told Yle that he has been saddened by the domestic debate over immigration, noting that it has harmed Finland’s international reputation.

“I have monitored the debate over immigration with considerable sorrow. Throughout my life, I have always seen myself as a Finn, a Nordic, a European and a world citizen,” he said.

Ahtisaari pointed to calculations that the ageing of Finland’s population will require more workers from abroad.

“People here are getting older. I’m part of that group, too. Unless we want to keep working longer, we won’t survive without foreign labour,” said the 78-year-old former UN envoy. In 2008 Ahtisaari was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his decisive role in mediating peace in places such as Aceh, Namibia, Northern Ireland and the Balkans.

Nordic democracy must be accepted

Ahtisaari expressed concern over how Finland’s reputation internationally is being affected by statements denouncing multiculturalism. The ex-president stressed his faith in an open, international Finland.

“Of course it has an impact, as there have been similar phenomena in various parts of Europe. But it must also be a given that everyone who comes to Finland must accept our Nordic democracy,” he added.

Ahtisaari said he still considers Finland to be an open nation despite the furore in recent days. It followed a social media posting by far-right Finns Party MP Olli Immonen last weekend, who aggressively called for a “fight” against “enemies” who back multiculturalism in Finland.

“We’re clearly on the plus side,” he told Yle. “Each of us has a responsibility to say what kind of country we want to live in. That should not be very difficult.”

On Tuesday evening, more than 15,000 people gathered in Helsinki calling for an open, multicultural Finland. Demonstrations were organised throughout the country, triggered by Immonen’s comments. Representatives of all parties in Parliament – including the Finns Party – spoke at the Helsinki event.

In Leftist diplospeak, it’s called ‘peace making’!

”The Elders”

The coauthored piece by these two ”Elders” is what you would expect from people parading themselves under such a ludicrous title. (Actually, they’re “U.N. Jim Crow law ” advocates, I’ll explain why in a few). They applaud the UNGA’s open violation of the Oslo Accords with its vote, approving observer status for the PLO, as well as discriminating against businesses in Jewish population centers in Judea and Samaria that employ both, Arabs and Jews.

This is Europe’s big chance to help the two-state solution become reality

The Elders: “The EU has repeatedly urged Israel to “immediately end all settlement activity”. And yet, by trading with settlements, Europe is inadvertently shoring up their economic viability and contributing to their permanence.”

The Elders urge the EU to pressure Israel to end expansion of its illegal settlements. By taking action on settlement products, they argue, Europe can help to safeguard the two-state solution. A version of this article first appeared in The Guardian.

The piece contains an entirely false premise, that Jewish population centers in Judea and Samaria are ‘illegal”, so anything produced in them are supposedly illegitimate and should be boycotted. On the contrary, these Jewish population centers are very much legitimate, the only reason why they are being deemed ”illegal, is due the political machinations of authoritarian Arab and leftist regimes hostile to Israel, who have taken over key positions of the U.N.’s political and justice system.

These international legislative bodies, and the courts that upholds their decisions, are not unlike the highly racist/discriminatory legislative bodies that existed throughout the period of segregation in the southern states of the U.S.

These racist political bodies brought into existence what became to be known as the ”Jim Crow laws”, and upheld them within their courts between the years of 1876-1965. These racist and discriminatory laws were used against African Americans in order to keep them disfranchised. Israel is routinely denied a seat in in the various UN regional committees, and then delegitimized by these same bodies. An international racially motivated disenfranchisement.

The issue of water is also used as a bludgeon by these two ”elders”, claiming that Israel is ”controlling the water” of the Palestinians, as if the Jews can control the rainfall originating in the mountains located in Israel proper. They clearly bank on the ignorance of the average reader on these issues. Also, if not for Arab terrorism in the hills of Judea and Samaria, non-Israeli use of roads connecting Jewish towns and cities would be allowed.

The point I’m making here is, if not for the over the top bastardizing of the facts by dopes like Ahtisaari and Robinson, and the anti-Israel votes, rulings and verdicts by these modern day ”Jim Crow” legislators and judges, there would have been a peaceful solution to the Arabs’ conflict with Israel ages ago. The West would have taken a no nonsense attitude to their demagoguery and propaganda, thereby removing a key tool in their evil war against the Jews.

Former presidents, Ahtisaari and Robinson are by-products of the U.N. ”Jim Crow” political machine, and should be seen as such. They are the enablers of the Modern Day Jim Crow law system at the U.N., now used to discriminate against the Jewish state of Israel.

This article by Thomas Sandell “Finland’s foreign policy in the process of radicalization?”
was first published in Swedish in the Hufvudstadsbladet, Finland’s largest Swedish language paper. It’s now being published here for the Finnish speakers that read this blog, when the TT gets it translated into English, it will be published below the Swedish after the jump. This is about the radicalization of the present Finnish government’s foreign policy decisions, something of which the TT has referred to time and again. KGS

It’s shameful that Finland -under the disingenuous, misguided notion, that “to be there is to influence the participants”- plans to attend. It’s also shameful that Finland has an ex-president (Martti Ahtisaari) flapping his gums in favor of UDI. Please read Weinthal’s thoughtful piece on why Durban III and UDI should be seen as a two pronged approach at delegitimizing Israel. KGS

“All the world’s major democracies have pulled out of Durban III because they have finally understood exactly that. Durban is not about combating racism, it is about demonizing Jews and the Jewish state.”

UN statehood and Durban III part of ‘one-two punch’

09/20/2011 05:08

Analysis: Experts to address both at NY conference; ‘Post’ journalist to speak at counter Durban conference.

BERLIN – This week will see two seemingly separate anti- Israel events coalesce at the United Nations. The first is the Palestinian Authority’s move to secure recognition as a new member state of the United Nations by circumventing the negotiating peace process with Israel. The second event is the infamous UN-sponsored anti- Israel Durban III anti-racism ten-year commemoration event.

Leading experts in the field of international relations are slated to argue at a counter- Durban III conference titled “The Perils of Global Intolerance: the United Nations and Durban III,” on September 22 that there are important interconnections between the unilateral Palestinian statehood bid and Durban III. In short, both events, say some experts, are two wings of the same anti- Semitic and anti-Israel bird.

The UN anti-racism conference, which was dubbed Durban after the South African city where the notorious 2001 event took place, has earned a global reputation as a vehicle for stoking anti-Semitism and racism. A sizable number of Durban I conference participants openly championed Hitler’s destruction of European Jewry, and sought to modernize and extend his lethal anti-Semitism to Israel.

All of this helps to explain why some experts see an interplay between the PLO’s goal to create a state fused with the terror group Hamas, whose goal is the abolition of the Jewish state, and the commemoration of an anti-racist conference, namely Durban III, which has, sadly, turned out to be filled with a hate-based UN-sponsored agenda.

This is why the Tundra Tabloids holds former Finnish president Martti Ahtisaari with such contempt. The gas-bag former president should know better than to back such a regime that has proven unable to honestly negotiate over the past two decades. Mr.Doofus, founder of Crisis Management Initiative is clearly driving the self interests of the extremely radical and violent Palestinians. These fake peace makers need to be ridiculed and sidelined.

Ahtisaari’s full throated approval of Abbas’ move for full Palestinian membership at the UN (that is nothing more than a ruse to gain more leverage outside of the negotiating process) should be seen as an attack against the Jewish state of Israel itself.

The TT mentioned earlier that the only reason the Arabs are trying to get a Palestinian state recognized now, (even though they know in advance that it’ll be vetoed by the US) is to get the status of the disputed territories changed to that of being “occupied by a member UN state. So here is Saeb Erekat making that very point:

According to Erekat, the statehood bid has at least six advantages:

  1. Palestine within the 1967 “borders” with Jerusalem as its capital would become a state under occupation by another member of the UN and Israelis would no longer be able to say that these are disputed territories;
  2. the reference for the negotiations with Israel would focus only on a setting a timetable for an Israeli withdrawal;
  3. the Palestinian people alone would have the right to self-determination;
  4. UN conventions oblige all members to help a country that is occupied by one of the members;
  5. Palestine would have access to all UN bodies, such as the international criminal court which,
  6. the status of the Palestinian prisoners in Israel would change and they would become, after the UN recognition of a Palestinian state, “prisoners of war.”

So even in the event of a US veto in the UNSC (they can always hope that the US will vote otherwise), they move the ball forward through the freak show called the General Assembly, which is certain to vote in their favor, thereby upgrading their status from that of  ‘observer’, to a non-voting member state, which would allow them to join other UN governmental bodies and the right to pursue legal action against the Jewish state. KGS

And this guy is a former UN apparatchik, who adores UN resolutions.

Anyone who really understands the Middle East situation, knows for a fact that ending the Palestinians’ war against the Jewish state will not end the jihad against either Israel nor the West. The logic behind “solving the Palestinian conflict first and all else will follow” meme, rests upon the false assumption that Muslim leaders actually care about a Palestinian state.

They all hate Israel, but they certainly don’t care for the Palestinians nor their state, and the Islamic clerics advising the Hamas from abroad, certainly do not want to see a permanent peace settlement reached between the two sides. So in the event of a Pali state coming into existence, the war would continue nonetheless, for the Palestinians have not given up on having it all and there is no Arab pressure on them to do so.

Former Finnish president Martti Ahtisaari is behind the recent push in Finnish politics to get Finland on the map in the “peace solving racket”. It’s one of the reasons why Ahtisaari founded Crisis Management Initiative, an international “solution solving” foundation, whose Middle East dept. is headed by none other than, Heidi Huuhatanen, former analyst at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs (UPI).

The Tundra Tabloids had discussed with her -while she was still at the UPI- concerning the idea of negotiating with the Hamas, and her parting shot to the very long discussion (the TT was against it) was that “we’ll just have to try it and see what comes of it.”

This is the caliber of M-E analysts Ahtisaari has advising him, who -if I recall correctly-labeled the leadership of Hamas as……..pragmatic. It’s mind numbing to see the type of mediocrity that gets top pay in these institutions. There simply isn’t any sound logic to back up Heidi Huuhtanen’s analysis that Hamas can be dealt with as a rational player.

So Ahtisaari’s call for the recognition of a Pali state will produce the exact opposite of his desired intentions, that being, peace between the two sides. Both Hamas and Fattah are no where near ending their dreams of destroying Israel, and who will no doubt, be emboldened to continue using the same methods they’ve used for decades -of instigating terror, absorbing reprisals and then fanning the flames of anti-Israel hatred throughout the international community, who by the way, refuse to hold them accountable for any of their actions. It’s worked thus far, so why change course? KGS

Ahtisaari calls for EU support
the Palestinian state now

Published September 10, 2011 at. 11:00. Last modified September 10, 2011 at.14:24

President Martti Ahtisaari stresses that by using only military targets, you can not put an end to terrorism.

– If you want the terrorism to stop Palestinian issue must be resolved, he said in an interview for Vasabladet and Ostrobothnia Newspaper. He will discuss the world situation ten years after the terrorist attacks in New York on 11 September.

– Palestinian issue is used by all as an excuse, quite regardless of which view you have.

As President of the European Council on Foreign Relations, Ahtisaari has done his utmost to get as many EU countries as possible to back up the Arab countries’ proposal for an independent Palestinian state. It is expected to be the main issue when the United Nations General Assembly will start on 20 September.

– Also for Israel to maintain its security must be resolved the matter, said Ahtisaari.

He refers to a much-publicized speech that U.S. President Barack Obama held two years ago in Cairo. Obama was very clear when he said that peace in the Middle East requires two independent states, one Israeli and one Palestinian. Since the peace plan has not advanced since then, is nevertheless expected the U.S. along with Israel vote against the General Assembly.

Nobel laureate Ahtisaari, is involved in several projects in the Middle East and in other continents which aims to offer young people education.

– Young people under 25 who have no future there in quantities. They are very easy to be recruited by criminal groups or terrorist organizations. Our responsibility is great because we know that matter can be addressed, says the tireless Finnish player on the world stage.

Ahtisaari Hopes Mladic Arrest Will Strengthen Kosovo Independence

Former President Martti Ahtisaari hopes that the arrest of former Bosnian Serb General Ratko Mladic on war crimes charges will help strengthen Kosovo’s claim to independence. He is particularly hopeful that the arrest could herald a warming of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

“The arrest of Ratko Mladic hopefully marks a new beginning in Serbian relations with its neighbors,” said Ahtisaari in a statement released on his Crisis Management Initiative organisation’s website. “I do hope that we can now witness a new attitude toward the independent state of Kosovo.”

Ahtisaari, who won the Nobel Peace prize in 2008, had a significant role in Kosovo’s declaration of independence in the same year. Russia and several other European countries – including Serbia – have not yet recognized Kosovo’s independence.

But he had Finland’s former president Martti Ahtisaari with him, that should have counted for something, right? It was pure amateur hour, as the Tundra Tabloids predicted back when it first came to light. The Obama administration however, is throwing some serious rocks in their glass house with this one, Hillary has absolutely no room to point fingers, not even at the laughable “Elders”.  KGS

M.Ahtisaari: Aw gee Hillary, was it something we said?

Let the Tundra Tabloids say what needs to be said. This former Finnish president, Martti Ahtisaari, who has totally lost his street-cred with the TT, ages ago, is nothing more than a hack. Tough talk? Well, sorry then to all the TT’s Finnish readership, but it needs to be said.

This former UN bureaucrat/Finnish president and now peace foundation wonk, who has involved himself in the peace making industry for whatever the reasons, knows full well that North Korea is gaming the West for more goodies in exchange for vague promises.

That he refuses to tell the truth, let alone traveling to Pyongyang with “The Seniles” (never was a more arrogant and self serving name ever created) and only managed to meet with lower level party members, tells the TT all it needs to know about this jerk. He’s in it for himself, the prestige he thinks he gets from traveling around the world with the likes of Jimmy Carter. What a joke, and his whole MCI outfit as well. KGS

Martti Ahtisaari, self serving peace industry hack

This is exactly what the Tundra Tabloids has been saying from the very beginning, these useful stooges do more harm than good, and are a waste of time any money. The arrogantly named “Elders” should be reduced to persona non grata status, and not trumpted as the best thing since sliced bread. Enough already. KGS

Once again, trying to get North Korea to ease tensions between the two states is meaningless. Clinton tried reasoning with the NORKS through Madeline Al-“not so”-bright and it ended in abject failure. To understand N.Korea, is to understand the art of the “shakedown”, for that’s what they’ve been doing with the dopes in the West for some time now, and with great success.

So “Team Grandpa”, consisting of former presidents of Finland and the US, Martti Ahtisaari and Jimmy Carter, are going to head to Pyongyang to discuss the North’s relations with the South, while the North will use the West’s and the South’s worries to their best advantage to exact sweet deal packages in return for vague promises.

This is what they’ve been doing time and again. The only diplomat the Tundra Tabloids has ever heard speaking the truth about the North Koreans, is former US ambassador to the UN, John Bolton, who was removed from the negotiating team in 2003 due to the North’s objections of Bolton calling a spade a spade.

Mark the TT’s words, the only party set to gain from these talks will be the North Koreans, not the South. KGS

Ahtisaari Negotating in North Korea Next Week

YLE: Former Finnish President Martti Ahtisaari will travel to North Korea next week to negotiate ways to ease tensions between the two Koreas as part of a group led by former US President Jimmy Carter.

Nobel Peace Prize laureate Ahtisaari is part of the Elders group, other members of which include former Irish President Mary Robinson and former Norwegian Prime Minister Gro Harlem Brundtland.

The group will set off on Sunday, firstly visiting China’s capital Beijing. After the talks in China, the group is to travel to North Korea’s capital city Pyongyang on Tuesday. From there, the group will travel to South Korea’s capital Seoul on Thursday.

The goal of this mission is to discuss measures to ease tensions between the two Koreas. Nuclear disarmament and North Korea’s humanitarian situation are also on the agenda of the negotiations.

Grampa Doofus

Kofi Annan is a corrupt ex-UN bureaucrat who likes to live lavishly off of other peoples’ wealth. He’s the poster child for UN corruption, the coddling of dictators and defending their excesses and interests. His participation in the Oil-For-Food scam has been well documented by Claudia Rosett, which should have reduced him to a pariah-like status.

Fellow UN hacks, like the former Finnish president, Martti Ahtisaari, instead choose to invite him to participate in seminars, so apparently ‘Mara’ hasn’t a problem with Annan’s very checkered past. Why should he though, Ahtisaari sat in the bureaucracy of the UN for decades and (as far as I know) never once raised an objection to the graft, greed and corruption of that international institution to the Finnish public.

The Tundra Tabloids has never heard Ahtisaari criticize the immense amount of waste within the halls of the UN, nor criticize the UNGA and its human rights council for having states that support terrorism sitting as members, let alone presiding as president of the UNHRC. So why should we be surprised that he invites this highly corrupt kleptocrat to Helsinki for one of his Crisis Management Initiative (CMI) seminars? Disgusting. KGS

It’s a farce, with the outcome already known far in advance. The N.Koreans are going to be given yet another opportunity to see if there’s a chance in the making, to squeeze out more wonderful aid packages. That’s the game they play, and in return for their vague promises, they’ll tune down the bellicose rhetoric against the South for a time, only to ramp it up again for whatever reason.

The NORKS love these Nobel Prize winners for the international spotlight they give their Stalinist state, the handshakes, the promises given, all that good cheer, and if the US and other EU states bite, again, the NORKS are set to rake in more funding in the form of aid packages and investments etc.

Lets face facts, the NORKS can’t afford to give up on their nuke weapon industry and their war against the South any more than the Syrians can give up on their war with Israel. It’s what gives them a leverage card to hold over the doughy headed poobahs, like Ahtisaari and Carter. So don’t count the Tundra Tabloids getting all excited over the prospect of Ahtisaari and Carter being successful. KGS

Kosovo’s Thaçi: Human Organs Trafficker

by Srdja Trifkovic

The details of an elaborate KLA-run human organ harvesting ring, broadly known for years, have been confirmed by a Council of Europe report published on January 15. The report, “Inhuman treatment of people and illicit trafficking of human organs in Kosovo” identifies the province’s recently re-elected “prime minister” Hashim Thaçi as the boss of a “mafia-like” Albanian group specialized in smuggling weapons, drugs, people, and human organs all over Europe. The report reveals that Thaçi’s closest aides were taking Serbs across the border into Albania after the war, murdering them, and selling their organs on the black market. In addition, the report accuses Thaçi of having exerted “violent control” over the heroin trade for a decade.

Deliberate Destrution of Evidence – Long dismissed in the mainstream media as “Serbian propaganda,” the allegations of organ trafficking – familiar to our readers – were ignored in the West until early 2008, when Carla Del Ponte, former Prosecutor at the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) at The Hague, revealed in her memoirs that she had been prevented from initiating any serious investigation into its merits. She also revealed – shockingly – that some elements of proof taken by ICTY field investigators from the notorious “Yellow House” in the Albanian town of Rripe were destroyed at The Hague, thus enabling the KLA and their Western enablers to claim that “there was no evidence” for the organ trafficking allegations.

In April 2008, prompted by Del Ponte’s revelations, seventeen European parliamentarians signed a motion for a resolution calling on the Assembly to examine the allegations. The matter was referred to the Assembly’s Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights, which in June 2008 appointed Swiss senator Dick Marty as its rapporteur. He had gained international prominence by his previous investigation of accusations that the CIA abducted and imprisoned terrorism suspects in Europe.

“Genuine Terror” – In his Introductory Remarks Marty revealed some of the “extraordinary challenges of this assignment”: the acts alleged purportedly took place a decade ago, they were not properly investigated by any of the national and international authorities with jurisdiction over the territories concerned. In addition, Marty went on,

NOTE: As Special Envoy for the Kosovo status process, Ahtisaari was more than likely privy to a lot of information from Western intelligence officials and EU politicians. His position in all of this is very pivotal.

EU wary of handling explosive Kosovo report

Mr Marty’s new findings say that secret memos from European intelligence services such as the UK’s MI5 corroborate the older allegations that Mr Thaci’s ethnic Albanian guerrilla group in the 1990s murdered ethnic Serb prisoners for in order to sell their kidneys and smuggled heroin.

“What is particularly confounding is that all of the international community in Kosovo – from the governments of the United States and other Western powers, to the EU-backed justice authorities – undoubtedly possess the same, overwhelming documentation … but none seems prepared to react in the face of such a situation and hold the perpetrators to account,” the Marty report says.

Eh… thanks Goob, but the best thing you can do for us in your golden years, is to go prune your garden and fertilize the lawn and keep your hacks from screwing things up even more. The world is full of these “do gooders” and the path of destruction is paved with their good intentions. The Israelis don’t need any of their meddling, if they want to do something positive for the region, they needn’t sett up shop in the Arab states, but in their own capitals and lobby their governments to stop wasting money on the Palestinians Fakestinians.
More money is lost down the black hole of Arab corruption and in the terrorist infrastructure, than goes towards building its society. Regardless of what Ahtisaari says about CMI not spearheading any kind of peace initiative, his CMI team of Finnish “officials, advisers and university personnel” are going to pressing flesh and giving all the wrong signals to the potentates of the region.
The Tundra Tabloids has met, and has had run-ins with many of his like minded fellow travellers at the Finnish UPI and at the Finnish Foreign Ministry (from which the CMI receives half of its funding), and they all fail to impress. Having a superficial knowledge and revisionist understanding of the region (from reading all the works of Avi Shlaim and ilk), are the qualities CMI expects from the people it employs and associates with. So unfortunately, expect to see the CMI sticking its nose where it shouldn’t, regardless of what their leader says. KGS
President Martti Ahtisaari-led organization, Crisis Management Initiative, has set up a branch in Jordan. According to Ahtisaari, the organization is not going to mediate peace in the Middle East.
It is understood that how we could even out there in the Middle East question, not so much as a peace broker, but in how to obtain consistent views of the time, President Martti Ahtisaari says.
CMI set up last year an office in the Jordanian capital of Amman. In 2008, the Nobel Peace Prize winner Ahtisaari said that the Middle East conflict has been, a prolonged disgrace for the international community.
CMI is the Ahtisaari founded the organization, which he is Chairman of the Board. Ahtisaari welcomes with optimism peace prospects in the Middle East in the coming years.

Mara: That makes sense, it fits with my hybris

The kind of people when retired from political office, you wish would stay retired, which means shutting their mouths and tend to their gardening. But like Jimmah Carter, Martti Ahtisaari, the former Finnish president and Nobel peace prize laureate, won’t call it quites, ever, no matter how much they soil themselves in public.
This is the guy who spent a large time of his life involved with the UN, and never spilled the beans on that disgusting organization, though it’s without a doubt that he knew of the stinking corruption that went on within its halls and insititutions.
Now once again, Ahtisaari thinks he and his beloved (George Soros funded) Crisis Management Initiative can solve the Arabs’ conflict with Israel, in spite of the fact that the Arabs DON’T WANT AN END TO IT.

That inconvenient fact just never factors into the thinking of these ex-UN bureaucrat/politician lefty droids, no, why bother letting reality interfere with your chosen profession of international peace maker and high profile gatherings elbow rubber.

Buffoons like Ahtisaari are the reason why Israel’s sworn enemies feel encouraged, and will never give up the fight to control all the real estate currently called Israel, why should they when proven fools keep falling for their strategy time and again. The TT had some good words to say about the former Finnish president some years ago, but only in the context that the man isn’t an antisemite, who wouldn’t buy the nonsense the Arabs were peddling concerning the myth of massacre at Jenin. But the good words for Ahtisaari end there.
The man exhibits a hubris not unlike that of Barack Obama whom he champions, and believes has “the right stuff” to turn things around in the Middle east. Pure fantasy. Those of you who read the Tundra Tabloids on a regular basis know fully well that the Arabs’ conflict with Israel is not the linch pin to the solving of the region’s problems. It’s a well used disingenuous line used by people like Ahtisaari, who think they can move land and water by the sheer force of their will. He and others like him are pure fools. KGS
In the Interantiona arena, it is mainly one thing that creates uncertainty: the unresolved Palestine Question,

Palestine question makes it much harder with everything else in the Middle East, “he says.

-It is a good excuse for not resolving other conflicts. It leads to negativi attitudes against the West spread in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan. It hampers normal relations with Iran.

Ahtisaari hopes, like many others, that Barack Obama may contribute to a turnaround. But Ahtisaari also believe that the EU might well play a far more active role. Despite what he calls “Europe’s own history of Israel.”

-Often, he says, needs to take a tougher approach to rescue the two parties.
