Christian Christianity Free Speech Statism

Finnish prosecutor general insists quoting the bible can be a crime if it’s understood to be offensive…….

When “giving offense” can be turned into a crime, the state can be accurately described as abusive and tyrannical…

So telling someone that he or she is a sinner and condemned to hell if they refuse salvation, can now be turned into a crime. The giving of “offense” is now criminalized, with the state assuming the sole arbitrator of what is and isn’t offensive. So effectively, the prosecutor just criminalized the gospel. Any non-believer offended by it, can now raise charges against any Christian preaching the gospel. Persecution of believers is now sanctioned. The state’s abuse of its power is inevitable as seen in this case.

Prosecutor General to Helsingin Sanomat: Bible Quotation Can Be a Crime – “Understanding That The Text Offensive Is Enough”

Prosecutor General Raija Toiviainen decided to launch a criminal investigation into the articles published in 2004 by Päivi Räsänen (MP).

Raija Toiviainen reminds in Helsingin Sanomat that one cannot hide behind a citation.

Prosecutor General Raija Toiviainen tells in an interview with Helsingin Sanomat that citing the Bible can be criminal in some cases.

She refers to her decision to open a criminal investigation into the articles published in 2004 by MP Päivi Räsänen (MD). Räsänen wrote a booklet in which he defined homosexuality as a “disorder of psychosexual development.”

In the booklet, Räsänen also found homosexuality harmful in permanent relationships and wrote homosexuality legislation to encourage early experiments that open the door to sexual exploitation of children. Räsänen has repeatedly denied having committed a crime and pleading for religious freedom.

– I was surprised at the depth of its Friday interrogation. I was surprised at how long the list was with questions, almost four hours went by. After all, the police asked me if I would agree to remove the texts within two weeks. I replied that I would not. These are writings that are anchored in the Bible, which to me is a matter of life and death. These are the lines of Finnish religious freedom, she said earlier.

Incitement against the ethnic group was also added to the Criminal Code in its current form, seven years after the publication of Räsänen’s pamphlet.

As a result of the criminal investigation, Toiviainen has been heavily criticized but finds the criticism unfounded. According to her, freedom of speech is not threatened, but Finland has forgotten where its limits are.

– How difficult is it for a person to understand if she is violating someone else’s dignity?

Raija Toiviainen says in Helsingin Sanomat that the dignity of others must not be violated by the holy books.

– In the holy books we know, it is right to kill whole nations. If we beat others with such Bible or Qur’anic sentences, then I think we are misusing the word of the holy books.

  1. The acts of the recent attacks from what the media labels as “rightwing extremists” is a cover for their invasive species operations. All of those attackers have acted out of natural human instinct to fight agains what they know is extinction of their race, culture, government, and religion.

Looks like the media is helping to create them. Go read about invasive species and the patterns in nature, and you will realize that those acts are innocent methods of self -defense. They are considered a crime, but science will overrule this label the media slaps on people and the media heads will be prosecuted for genocide, war crimes, and TREASON.
