CRONY CAPITALISM & OBAMA
It’s about the marriage of crony capitalist business with the ruling political class, it’s obvious as to who serves their best interests. The statists. I am a strong supporter of the capitalist/free market system, the best economic system ever created, but what I’m against, is welfare capitalism, the kind we see in the bailing out of mortgage houses and other financial institutions, as well as in the auto industry.
The government has no right to meddle in that way with the private sector, choosing for itself, the winners and the losers in the economy. Corporate welfarists see a major friend in the statist Democrats, which is not to say RINO Republicans don’t engage in the same practices, for they do. What I’m getting at is that this type of arrangement finds more fertile soil within the base of the Democrat party, than it does with the Republican base.
It’s always been amusing, as well as disturbing, to me, how easy it it is for the Democrats to position and sell themselves as the party for the little guy, when they are all up to their eyeballs with big business crony capitalism. They are all millionaires, every last one of them who has been in government ”service” for long periods of time.
