A Tundra Tabloids’ source informs that on 12 November, the Board of NTNU will meet to discuss the boycott of Israeli universities. If this proposal is accepted it would be the first university in the western world to do so. As soon as the TT gets more information on the scheduled discussion, I’ll publish it here. KGS
UPDATE:
Here’s an interesting find. It just so happens that the chair of the Norwegian, NTNU, Marit Arnstad, is also the deputy chair of Norway’s predominantly state owned oil company, Statoil. The Norwegian oil company also happens to be involved in the tar sands projects in Alberta Canada, which according to Green Peace:
“threaten ecosystems over a huge area of Alberta; polluting and depleting waterways, endangering the health of wildlife and local communities, and contributing to climate change.”
So that makes Arnstad involved with two dirty places!
Kauft nicht beim Juden.
So, what else is new?
I hear ya. KGS
