TERROR PLOT’ Woman, 36, accused of plotting ISIS suicide bomb attack at St Paul’s Cathedral appears in court

A WOMAN accused of planning an ISIS suicide attack at St Paul’s Cathedral today smiled as she appeared in court.
Safiyya Shaikh, 36, is accused of scoping out the popular tourist site for the best places to blow herself up.
She appeared at the Old Bailey wearing a black hijab and Islamic robes via video link from HMP Bronzefield charged with the preparation of terrorist acts and dissemination of terrorist publications.
Shaikh, of Hayes, North West London, spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth and British nationality and fidgeted with her robes and smiled nervously during the eight-minute hearing….
Shaikh was charged over an alleged ISIS-inspired bomb plot at St Paul’s Cathedral and a London hotel last month.
She is accused of preparing the words of a pledge of allegiance to ISIS between August 19 and October 10 this year when she was arrested by counter-terror police.
It is further alleged that she shared terrorist documents via groups using the Telegram messaging app and other channels….
