US and Israel relations Whining Bastards

LEFTIST NYT LABELLED TRUMP “ANTISEMITIC”, NOW OUTRAGED OVER PRO-ISRAEL JEWISH US AMBASSADOR PICK FOR ISRAEL…….

A colleague of mine sends me the following:

“This is pretty funny. They’ve been calling Trump an anti-Semite all the time, and now they panic that he appoints a too pro-Jewish Ambassador 😄. calling him anti-Jewish then blame him for being “dangerously” pro-Jewish, it’s like “c’mon, make up your mind!”

Here’s also something else to ponder. Another buddy tells me that if and when Trump moves the embassy to J’lem, there’s already an active consulate there, in E.Jlem. If that becomes the de facto embassy…… the Left will go ballistic. Pass the popcorn please.

In appointing David Friedman as the next ambassador to Israel, Donald Trump voiced a desire to “strive for peace in the Middle East.” Unfortunately, his chosen representative would be far more likely to provoke conflict in Israel and the occupied territories, heighten regional tensions and undermine American leadership.

Mr. Friedman, a bankruptcy lawyer who has represented the president-elect in matters involving Atlantic City casinos, has no diplomatic experience, unlike nearly every American ambassador who has served in this most sensitive of posts. That might not be quite so alarming if he didn’t also hold extremist views that are radically at odds with American policy and with the views of most Americans.

Mr. Friedman has doubted the need for a two-state solution, under which Israelis and Palestinians could live side by side in peace. Ignoring international law and decades of policy under Republican and Democratic administrations, he has endorsed continued Israeli settlement of occupied territory in the West Bank, which Israel captured from Jordan during the 1967 war. Mr. Friedman has gone so far as to endorse even the annexation of some of that land, where Palestinians hope to build a state of their own.

One Response

  1. American Policy as enacted by Congress was to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. Every President since Clinton refused by Executive order not to do so. So Trump would be the first since Congress’s bill was passes to actually follow what was ordered for the President to do. Secondly, what did you have to say, New York Times, when Obama went against American Policy to desist from all relationships with Cuba? You had no problem with a President who gave a new lease on life for another 20 years to a brutal dictatorship, and with nothing in return. You are hypocrits and the media wonders why the Press is being ignored and marginalized by American citizens. You have made yourselves dinosaurs by twisting the news to fit your own agenda.
