George Galloway has been attacked by a ‘mystery substance’ as he spoke to students at the University of Aberdeen.
Video footage has emerged of a meeting in the Scottish university where the controversial politician was addressing students and ended up with a strange substance, thought to have been glitter, thrown on him.
He tweeted: ‘Someone calling themselves ‘Trans’ and an ‘anarchist’ led a five person attack on me on the platform at Aberdeen University. I continued.
‘I know have an unknown substance in my eyes and lungs and feel a little unwell. But the struggle continues.’
The shaky video footage shows the former MP setting up before the talk is stormed by a group shouting and waving placards.
According to the Mirror, the protestors hurled gold and green substances over the politician before being removed from the room.
