FINNISH FAKE CONSERVATIVE PARTY HEAD (NEO-STATIST) DEFENDS EU, TELLS TIMO SOINI HE PROTESTS TOO MUCH…….

To understand the Finnish National Coalition party (Kokoomus), you have to first understand that they are ‘neo-statists’, (marriage of big government/crony capitalism) they are not true conservatives, in that they do not advance the cause of individual liberty, meaning the protection of property rights, scaling back of big government, let alone the EU governing structure. As long as their party hats outnumber the other parties’, they’re pretty much comfortable with things how they are, they love to be in, and manage the welfare state.

You’ll never hear them quoting the philosophers (that heavily influenced the US Founders and Framers of the constitution) like Charles de Montesquieu or Edmond Burke. No, for them, it’s the government that rules, first and foremost, and that they have a mandate to do pretty much what they want to as they herd the voters into supporting their positions through the fake media and Marxist run academies.

They are no different from the US GOP progressives of the early 1900’s (and today’s RINOS), who were all smitten with the idea that government (bigger the better) is the proper vehicle for moving the nation forward, and the constitution and individual liberty be damned. They are the self deemed ‘ruling class’, and if anyone ventures into their realm, (like new politicians or lobbyists) they have to pay the piper, there is to be no challenge to the status quo, they will indeed rule as they see fit as they go through the motions of  the so called ‘democratic process’.

NOTE: The Finnish political elite repeat this stale mantra for every international situation in which they currently sit: “we must cooperate, because that’s the best way for a small country to have an impact.” Though in reality, they pretty much toe the line of the more influential states.

(FAUX)Conservatives’ Orpo challenges Soini over EU stance

The head of the ruling conservative party’s parliamentary group has called on the opposition Finns Party to cooperate to help create a better EU.

Petteri Orpo, chair of the conservative National Coalition Party’s parliamentary delegation, on Sunday accused Finns Party leader Timo Soini of “artificial confrontation” and polarisation in the run-up to European Parliament elections.

Orpo was responding to Soini’s comments earlier in the day. The opposition politician said the elections in May would basically represent a choice between the Finns Party’s policy of independent national decision-making and the NCP’s ideal of a more federal Europe. The current government is led by conservative Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen.

A small nation’s impact

The NCP group chair said that such posturing would not help to advance Finland’s interests.

“The National Coalition welcomes the Finns Party to help build an EU that will better benefit the people of Finland,” said Orpo. “We only have 13 seats in the European Parliament. So we must cooperate, because that’s the best way for a small country to have an impact. Subjugating an important EU election to domestic power politics will not help our fatherland,” he added.
