Free Speech lars Hedegaard Lars Vilks

JYLLANDS-POSTEN BLOGGER NOTICES DANISH PAPERS’ SUPPORT FOR LARS HEDEGAARD’S FREE SPEECH RIGHTS, BUT DO OTHER NORDIC PAPERS……?

Nothing as of yet in the fecal loaded papers of Finland voicing support of Lars Hedegaard’s right to free speech.

Lar Vilks, the professor of art Interviewed by the TT) who has been repeatedly attacked has this to say on his blog, defending Lars’ right to free speech means to the media in general, a downplaying of what they consider ”hate speech”.

One can still find that in the impending situation Hedegaard’s expression should unreservedly be defended. But it is not more pronounced among the leftists. Literary scholar, critic and writer Aftonblad’s Anders Johansson has thoroughly explained the background in his book Nonfiction from 2008. In the chapter “Freedom” he argues that freedom of expression can often be something that “helps conceal the questions that should be asked.” In Hedegaard’s case we have one (as it seems) assassination attempt on freedom of expression. Thus, it seems obvious that freedom of expression must be defended, but just this defense means, with Johansson’s logic, that it helps conceal the questions that should be asked. This is also why virtually all media reporting provides roughly simplified representations of what Hedegaard said and done.

Lars Hedegaard

Islam-critics are persecuted everywhere

Mrutyuanjai Mishra:  Let me ask directly: Does the assassination attempt against Lars Hedegaard make anyone wonder about any political consequences? Or is it just business as usual again? The Danish media is to be commended for their reaction when all editorials of the day after the attempted assassination unreservedly supports Lars Hedegaard’s struggle for freedom of speech. But what became of solidarity from the other Nordic countries?

It is still too early to say what the motive was for the man who tried to kill Lars Hedegaard, President of the Free Press Society in Denmark and editor of an international newspaper, Dispatch International, which is also published in Swedish. But the Swedes are silent.

But one thing should now be clear to every politician, journalist and social commentator: Islam-critics live a dangerous life in European cities. Islamists do not tolerate criticism and trying to force people to accept Islamist standards through undemocratic methods. You could for example take over the Sound and talk to a courageous woman, Ingrid Carlqvist. When she invited Geert Wilders to give a speech in Malmö, she met no sympathy from the ruling political elite in Sweden. She had to stay overnight in Copenhagen the night before the event, because there was a real risk that more people would molest her physically. Why was no one protested then?

Critics of Islamism and Islamist indoctrination in European cities are increasingly faced with threats and expensive litigation. You try to use the legal system in the European countries to get them to behave. This is referred to by anyone with the right as so-called legal jihad. Many Islam-critics must undergo exhausting litigation drags on. Geert Wilders and Lars Hedegaard are excellent examples of this. When we fail to get rid of them through the courts, attempts to physically liquidate them.

Threats acting on anyone. The day before the assassination attempt Lars Hedegaard managed one mufti to prevent a girl band called“Pragaash” to act in Kashmir in India. A Mufti of Kashmir a nklagede teenage girls to be indecent and had ustedt a fatwa against all three of them . The girls were accused of committing “haram” ie. to exhibit unacceptable behavior. Now the girls then asked why it is not “haram”, when boys play music. The Muslim girl band has now been supported, but the threats had the desired effect for the Islamists. The girls have stopped playing music. The group no longer exists. The Islamists’ censorship also affects Muslims themselves, as this case from India clearly shows.

The list of Islam-critics who have been killed or threatened with death is long. Theo Van Gogh was killed, and Ayaan Hirsi Ali is constantly threatened. These are just two cases among many. Ordinary politicians in Sweden and Denmark have voiced criticism of Islam, the front desk protected by bodyguards. There have been numerous attempts to commit terrorist attacks against Jyllands-Posten. And many more examples could be mentioned. How many examples do you need before it can be concluded that Islamism does not tolerate criticism?

The above says it all. They insist on submission and we insist on freedom.
