Apparently in the UK, you need traveling permits to go from one part of town to another, just like in the old Soviet Union.
It’s a total beyond-the-pale situation, where the state can arrest someone, not involved in a crime whatsoever, on the suspicion that they are going to create a public nuisance. Great Britain has devolved into a police state, pure and simple. Unbelievable. Kevin Carroll was driving entirely separately in another part of the country, when he was pulled over and arrested.
