Folks, the logic behind “group rights” go hand in hand with the multicultural ideology and agneda, they’re like two rotten peas in the same rotten pod. Both are in direct opposition to the concept individual rights, which of course includes being treated equally under the rule of law. You can see how this is playing out in Western societies across Europe, in the US, in Australia and elsewhere.
Not only do “group rights” crush the individual, it also fractures/balkanizes society into many competing entities by which the statist elite both, promote and support, the pitting of groups against each other in a perpetual state of angst.
The statist thereby secures a position for itself as the eternal “schoolyard monitor”, who doles out largesse and punishment according to behavior that they alone are able to define, and to which groups they choose to favor. So is it any wonder that both “group rights” and multiculturalism are favored by the statist? KGS

Perhaps the UK should form a separate ‘Thought Police’ division just for those dreaded, so-called ‘hate crimes’, then the regular Police agencies could go about their business of regular law enforcement. IMHO free speech and expression have been muzzled in the UK by the apologist PC crowd of feckless politicians, who are again pandering to the rabble rousing Imams. The ‘followers of the teachings of the prophet’ as it seems can say anything they wish parading around in their dirty nightshirts, while the average bloke must mind his tongue or be imprisoned.
