Palestinian Ceasefire…….Not.

The odds were slim that “peace” would break out between Fatah and Hamas as a result of the “ceasefire” agreement reached in Mecca. It looks like the truce is being shelved altogether as Hamas kills a member of Fatah in Gaza, while gun battles rage between both sides throughout the Palestinian Authority areas. More here. *L* KGS

Update. The clash between the two terrorist groups have already killed five today. More here.

Update: Tundra Tabloid reader TINSC mentions in the comment section;

“If you look at what the mainstream media is saying about this, you need to note that there is no word about the two children who were killed in yesterday’s fighting. Given all the slobbering attention the mainstream media gave to bystanders killed in Lebanon last summer, it is clear that there is anti-Israel bias in the omission of the two children killed in yesterday’s fighting between Hamas and Fatah.”

I’ll have to disagree only in part. There has in fact been some mention of children being killed in the reporting of the Jerusalem Post, MSNBC, ABC, Reuters. BBC but they have buried the fact sentences or pararagrahs into the story. Checking the online websites of both CNN and the AP , they make no mention of Palestinian children being killed whatsoever, which in part backs up TINSC’s assertion.

I agree with TINSC that there is in fact bias in the media that works against Israel, and that they most likely would have trumpeted the fact that children were hit, it in their headlines or at least very near the top of the story, had it been the result of Israeli operations. KGS
