A Yemenese editor of a newspaper that published cartoons of the Prophet Mohamed, faces the death sentence. One of the precedents being used is the Prophet Mohamed himself. According to a BBC article:
“The paper’s website reported that the prosecution lawyers cited precedents from Muslim history when the prophet was insulted by a woman and then praised her killer
. ”
This would tend to show the stark difference between the Prophets of Christianity and Islam, where one defends a woman accused of prostitution, telling her to “go and sin no more”, and the other orders the offending woman to be murdered and then heaps praise upon her murderer. KGS
