FINNISH IMMIGRATION BOOTS FAMILY OF FOUR KURDS BACK TO GREECE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT…..

It’s a time when they’re least hostile.

Family of Four Deported in Middle of the Night

Immigration officials in Turku deported a Kurdish family of four on Monday in the middle of the night, reports the newspaper Turun Sanomat. The parents and their twin two-year-old girls were given a deportation order in November.
They were taken at four a.m. from the Pansio Refugee Reception Centre. Pastor Jouni Lehikoinen of the Mikael Church in Turku denounced the decision to deport as well as the decision to expel the family in the middle of the night. The parish tried in vain to help the family with the processing of their asylum application.
The newspaper reports that the decision to deport the family came after the mother’s fingerprints were found in Greece’s Eurodac finger-printing database of asylum seekers. Police were ordered to send the family back to Greece.
Police commissioner Marko Heikkilä says that officers worked according to normal protocol.
