Hakkarainen in European Parliament: “Communism, Nazism and Islamism are similar bloody ideas that should not be let into power in Europe”
MEP Teuvo Hakkarainen condemned totalitarianism in France.
MEP Teuvo Hakkarainen (PS) spoke at a plenary debate on Wednesday in Strasbourg on the distortion of European history and remembrance of the Second World War. In his speech he took a negative stance on all totalitarian tendencies.
According to Hakkarainen, who represents the nationalist group Identity and Democracy in the European Parliament, Communism, Nazism, and Islamism are similar bloody ideas that should not be let into power in Europe.
As a worrying contemporary phenomenon, he sees history as a distorted reinterpretation.
– Russia is now writing history so that Finland itself would have started the Winter War, warns Hakkarainen.
