Man who stabbed family still on the run
A man suspected of stabbing two adults and three children in Helsinki on Sunday is still on the loose, according to police.

Police said they are treating the incident which occurred in Helsinki’s Haaga district as a case of attempted murder, manslaughter and aggravated battery.
The 34-year-old assailant stabbed two adults, one of whom is his former spouse and mother of his three children whom he also stabbed. One of the child victims is under school age. Police said the victims’ injuries were not life-threatening.
Jari Koski, the officer in charge of the investigation, said charges may change as the investigation moves forward.
While law enforcement officials said they know the identity of the suspect, they are still investigating the motive.
