Here’s the question….will being an apostate, or a homosexual, or criticizing Islam and a host of other things Islam abhors still be a crime punishable under the sharia?
Crowds celebrate the defeat of ISIS in Libya
There were jubilant scenes in the coastal city of Sirte as the last group of jihadi fighters on Libyan soil were wiped off the map in a major offensive.
The fall of the strategically important settlement – which ISIS once boasted it was use as a gateway to invade Europe – marks a monumental moment in the group’s inevitable slide to all out defeat.
Troops rescued four women and 21 young children from the fanatics’ clutches as they advanced on a beachside neighbourhood in the city which was ISIS’ last major stronghold in north Africa.
The cowardly terrorists tried to use women and children as human shields as Libyan infantry closed in, and also sent out suicide bombers to slow the advance, killing four soldiers.
