Abu Mu’taz Qahtani has fled the Islamic State (ISIS) as coalition forces move in to recapture the city of Mosul, in Iraq.
Ground troops have killed 900 jihadi fighters in a week as the battle for Mosul rages on.
Amid the fighting Qahtani, a head finance officer in Iraq, has gone on the run with millions of pounds and important documents.
As forces push through Mosul they are said to be turing their sights to the bloodthirsty regime’s stronghold, Raqqa.
Qahtani, among those who have escaped, was responsible for recruiting female fighters.
She is thought to be in the company of a German woman.

Some of the rumoured 5,000 jihadis who have remained are trying to blend in to the local population in a bid to remain hidden.
One resident, Abu Saif, said: “I saw some Daesh (ISIS) members and they looked completely different from the last time I saw them.
