The travel ban was annulled in 1991, and many chose to seek their fortune in Europe. On August 7, 1991 stormed thousands of Albanians port area of Vlora and Durres, took control of several ships, and forced them to Italy. Below the ship Vlora on arrival at Bari, the day after. They both fled from communism and poverty but were deported in a matter of weeks.
