Finnish Immigration Concerns

FINLAND: RECENTLY RETIRED POLICE COMMISSIONER SAYS ASYLUM SEEKERS SHOULD BE LIMITED, THOSE REJECTED DEPORTED ASAP……..

Better late than never….?

Ex-Police Commissioner Paatero the number of asylum seekers should be limited

Former National Police Commissioner Mikko Paatero still actively follows Finland’s security situation. In his opinion, the number of asylum seekers should be limited, and those who receive a negative decision should be quickly deported from the country.

According to the National Police Commissioner who retired at the end of the summer, Mikko Paatero, he believes that Finland has coped reasonably well with matters related to asylum seekers after initial hurdles. Yet there is still a lot of questions that need to be resolved.

Paatero is particularly concerned about the country being divided.

– Finland will not survive being divided into two camps, namely those fighting against immigration and those who glorify it. We have to find a happy medium, Paatero says.

For example, in the employment of immigrants, we should remember the unemployed of their own country.

– I can not believe in the possibilities of job opportunities in the short term. I would be careful in providing such an image. We have almost 400 000 of our own unemployed. We need to talk at the same time of their employment, there shouldn’t be the impression of treating only the employment of immigrants.

The number of asylum seekers reduced

The former national police commissioner believes that the number of asylum seekers need to be reduced.

They who do not deserve a positive asylum decision, should be removed as quickly as possible.

– Mikko Paatero
