Islam is sharia and sharia is Islam.
This is a big deal. They have no idea about what they’ve gotten themselves into, nor of what they’ve been involved with for decades, and still, they plow ahead. This shows just how clueless these people are about Islam and the ramifications of importing hundreds of thousands of people into her country who are as outraged over her correct comments about Saudi (sharia-based) rule of law as the Saudis are. And we in the Counterjihad are regularly impugned for supposedly not understanding Islam.
NOTE: My guess is that dhimmified Sweden will be soon apologizing for her comments.
Wallström: Unfortunate that the criticism linked to Islam
Margot Wallström is deeply concerned that her statements about the judiciary in Saudi Arabia to be perceived as criticism of Islam. At the meeting with the business she repeated the fear that such an interpretation will spread in the Muslim religious world.
According to those who attended the meeting in the Ministry of Industry Wallström was noticeably shaken by the Arab world’s reactions to her statements about the state of human rights in Saudi Arabia.
“Unfortunate that criticism paired with Islam”
Wallström has, among other things, said that it’s medieval methods to judge their citizens to flogging as was the case with the imprisoned blogger Raif Badawi. At the meeting with business leaders, she gave on several occasions expressed her fear that what she said would be spread in the Muslim world.
– What has been unfortunate is that it has been paired with Islam, or it has been suggested that it would be statements against Islam. But it is wrong and very unfortunate. It is important to mention that this is not some statements made against a religion, says Margot Wallström, in an interview to TT after the meeting ended.
Testify seriously
In Saudi Arabia Sharia is considered divine law. In the communiqué, where the collective Arab League condemned Margot Wallström’s statements a few days ago, it read that Sharia has guaranteed human rights and saved people’s lives.
Several of those present from industry testified about the seriousness of the situation created. One of the participants said she and her colleagues should be ashamed to represent Sweden after it happened. Others criticized the government, claiming that it has no control over the development. The Swedish government’s ignorance was amply demonstrated when Gatestone called Margot Wallström’s press spokesman, Erik Boman.
Gatestone asked if he was aware that practices such as the death penalty for blasphemy, flogging and barring women from driving a car are based on the Koran. He said he was not. Nor, he said, had he heard of the 1990 Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam, which states that all human rights must be based solely on sharia law, and rejects human rights as expressed in the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Veronica Nordlund, from the Swedish Foreign Ministry’s press service, told Gatestone that she has heard of the Cairo Declaration, but thinks that Saudi Arabia has signed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Saudi Arabia did not, in fact, sign the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It abstained, claiming the Declaration violated sharia law. [1]
All in all, there appears to be a genuine but concerning lack of knowledge in the Swedish government about Islam and Islamic affairs.

There is nothing, however, to indicate that Margot Wallström and other members of the Swedish government and political establishment have been driven by fear. They have no knowledge of what orthodox Islam is all about and evidently believe that the religion is benevolent and peaceful, but unfortunately hijacked or misinterpreted by evil men.
The clueless get a smack of wake up, but what will they do with the info, use it to promote Western values, or cast a blind eye and stick their heads in the sand or worse?
Its strange that one can reconise a clueless Lefty just from appearances.
Unfortunately Islam can’t be reformed because the basic dogma that their book, the koran is the word of allah. The fact that it was not available in print until many hundreds of years after muhammad’s death and is long overdue for a new revised edition does not cut it with any muslim, moderate or radical – In a sense you can regard islam as in a perpetual state without history because muslims believe “all and everything” is in the Koran – forever! – Depressing? Yes I know, but that is the reason why much of the world today looks the way it is 2015 – Islam is stuck in the koran – depressing.
