Call me cynical, I don’t care.
I do not doubt for one moment that they were coached into doing it, and for nefarious reasons while the ignoramus clapping seals standing nearby burst into cheers.
The touching moment a Muslim bride took a detour on her big day to lay her wedding bouquet at the shrine for Sydney siege victims – and hundreds of stunned onlookers broke into applause

As the memorial to the victims of the Sydney siege continues to grow, a Muslim bride has made a pilgrimage on her wedding day to lay flowers at Martin Place. Adorned in a white wedding dress, which included a traditional white hijab and veil, newlywed Manal Kassem arrived at the memorial with her husband, Mahmod Homaisi, to place her wedding bouquet with the tens of thousands of other floral tributes in the square. The 23-year-old bride had planned for her wedding photos to be taken in the city, but had been hesitant to continue after the tragic events of Tuesday morning which claimed the lives of three people. The touching gesture prompted instant applause from hundreds of onlookers who had gathered to pay their respects.
Ahhh…..sigh …. So sweet
It’s comforting to know they’ve gone from marching behind ‘Behead those who insult islam’ placards at an inner city demonstration to looking like they are now our vewy, vewy bestest friends.
And inside 18 months too! Without doing anything.
Except adopting a new strategy. But then again – maybe the flowers and cards were for Man Monis – the hostage taker who had ‘we sacrifice for you , O Mohammed’ n arabic on his bandana.
Not for the victims.
She gave her flower bouquet for the ‘martyr’, Man Haron Munis.
Sheik! It’s exactly that! Great call!
Her action of laying flowers is akin to that of a cat after defecating at a place quickly scratching and throwing some dirt to cover it up.
