Police classify documents in terrorism case
The National Bureau of Investigation has decided to classify most preliminary investigation materials in Finland’s first terrorism trial, which began at the Helsinki District Court Tuesday .

The trial involves four individuals suspected of collecting funds for the East-African terrorist organisation Al-Shabaab.
The main suspect in the landmark case is also accused of recruiting for a terrorist act, and of preparing a crime with terrorist intent.
Three out of the four on trial are Finnish citizens. None of the accused appeared during Tuesday’s court session.
Some 5,000 pages of documentation were to be made public, but only a 19-page introduction and possibly an appendix with a summary will be released.
The accused have denied all charges.
