‘Price-tag’ vandalism has been a phenomenon in Israel over the past few years, the name comes ”the price society pays” for removing Jews from Judea and Samaria. Interestingly enough, this incident has the earmarks of Muslim involvement, though the graffiti is in Hebrew. They attacked a Christian monastery and called its central figure ‘a monkey’.
It’s not to say that the culprits weren’t in fact Jews demonstrating against the removal of a Jewish outpost at Migron, but there were no witnesses to the crime and the use of the word monkey to describe Jews and Christians is traditionally an Islamic thing. Either way it’s not entirely clear who is involved, but the media knows it’s ”right-wing”.
