It’s about the Republic, stupid.
While the kaleidoscope of daily headlines of the last three and a half years may confuse — from Obamacare to immigration to the economy to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan , free trade, the deficit and much more — it is understandable that many Americans may have an uneasy feeling that they have taken their eye off the ball.
In The Great Destroyer: Barack Obama’s War on the Republic, David Limbaugh brings the American eye back to America’s ball.
The American ball? The Constitution, the free market, and the principles of limited government that undergird the American republic.
Says the flap of his book, already a New York Times and Amazon bestseller:
….the Obama administration has waged a relentless, nearly four-year-long war to transform our nation into a country where federal bureaucrats have more power over our lives than we do…
Sadly, true. But the demand for specifics always arises, and David Limbaugh shines in providing chapter and verse.
By sheer chance, nothing could better illuminate David’s point than yesterday’s announcement by the Department of Homeland Security that the Obama Administration — disliking the Supreme Court’s ruling on Arizona’s immigration law — will simply refuse to enforce the program that has local law enforcement (like Arizona’s) reporting illegal immigrants to the federal government.
It’s almost as if President Obama were David Limbaugh’s PR agent.
That is a bunch of bullshit! I won’t deny that race relations have been bad under Obama, but I won’t deny that facts of who the REAL racists are! It ain’t Barack Obama, it’s people like you!
How is it that a HALF white man caused race relations to be this bad? How is it that a man whose mother was white and he was raised by his white mother and maternal grandparents, is a racist, but
not that party who calls him a fraud
not the party who questions his birth certificate when he has answered it over and over.
not the party who racially insults his wife, his children and him.
not that party who insults a whole race for voting for him.
How are they not racist, but Obama is? That is bullshit!
The response from Republicans and various teabagger groups who were certain the High Court would strike down the law was a repeat of the fallacious assertions during the healthcare reform debate two years ago when they complained of tyranny, government takeover of healthcare, and a Socialist plot to transform America into a European-style system of government. Republicans and their racist supporters in the teabagger movement have made every attempt to delegitimize President Obama and erase his administration’s achievements since January 2009 by promoting conspiracy theories, obstructing legislation, and attempting to repeal legally passed laws promoted by the President.
Fraud? Obama is Harvard Law School graduate. You need practically a 4.0 cumulative high school gpa to get into Havard with a 32 average ACT score and have a your SAT writing, reading, and math scores in the 700-800’s. To sum up you have to intelligent.
Do you think 300 million people are idiotic enough to vote for a man who hates the country he’s running for President?

Fieger clearly stated the reality of race relations & perceptions today. The truth hurts or shocks those who run from it: both closet, unaware & open racists. But facing truth is the only way our society can heal from the legacy of racism & oppression. You put a lot on the line to make a public stand for truth & human rights.
GOP Noise Machine has for years flasley depicted Obama as a lowly, un-American dictator/criminal; as someone unworthy of respect, which is exactly how they treated him, you have the galls to claim Obama is the cause of racism…..
Obama IS the reason race relations is bad today, but YOU on the racist right are the REAL cause!
First of, Obama has been at the forefront in promoting the art of race baiting, with the latest being the Trayvon Martin case. He and his minions know exactly what they are doing, they need societal unrest (Saul Alinsky) pitting one side against the other (haves vs. have nots) in order to create envy and jealousy, it’s called class warfare.
Secondly, you label me a racist. Ok smart ass, show us all exactly where.
Thirdly, Obama himself denies his white half, outside of his toasting a beer in a pub in Ireland, he never talks about it. He has been brought up in an environment inculcated with hatred for supposedly “white America”, and sat in a black separatist racist church for 20 years to shine his pedigree of being a true ‘black politician’ in order to be accepted as one of them. He even raised his kids in that racist church.
Fourthly, Obama bears the greatest responsibility for how he is perceived, his refusal to divulge his birth certificate sparked increased interest in it, as well as his grades in college. In comparison, the media went after Bush Jr.’s early record with all they could, leading one news desk anchor to resign in shame for publishing something entirely untrue. As for insulting his wife…if you mean treating her like all other politicians in the fray, she’s fair game since she has involved herself in her husbands politics in a big way. As for his kids…I have yet to see them treated in any way you depict here.
Fifthly, anyone voting for anyone based solely on the color of their skin…is an act of racism, regardless of the good intentions.
Sixth, in spite of the supreme courts ruling, Obama-care is immensely unconstitutional, regardless of what Roberts and the other four judicial activists say. Their ruling takes a major stab at the very basis of the constitution itself, founded upon the concept of limited government.
Seventh, as for illegality, it was Obama who deemed congress ”not in session” though they were, then illegally appointed four people to an office without any senate oversight, a direct violation of the constitution. And I could go on and on.
Eight, Obama does in fact want to destroy America. he said so just before he was inaugurated. “We are just moments away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America”. What person says he want to fundamentally transform something that he loves? Lets say that you have a magnificent house, love every aspect on how it was made, completely adore it,…then you want to take a wrecking ball to it and start over. That’s not respecting or even loving your home, in fact, it show that you hate it.
Lastly, your screed against me says more about yourself than about my world views. You’re a utopian, one who believes in big government, with more being better and depriving others of the hard earned living to benefit others ”that you deem worthy”. You refuse to see the lawlessness of this president and turn the tables on conservatives. If a republican did a 10th of what this man has done…the media would be hounding him/her into the grave. So you’re entitled to your opinions, but not the facts. Take your race baiting elsewhere.
