The median age in Egypt is 24.3 years old. With a young population and an 84 year old corrupt “President” who was in power for 30 years something was going to give. If Egypt finds itself under the rule of “corrupt old men” again, there will be no longevity to the government. It won’t matter whether they are popularly elected or not.
For better or worse, the Arab League’s new leaders are either going to be young or they won’t last long. A new generation is taking charge in Arab League countries. What they intend remains a mystery.
