Norway Norway's anti-Israel Lobby

NORWAY: A CASE STUDY FOR NATIONS DRILLING OIL TURNING INTO DUMB ASSES…….

Let’s face it, if not for oil, the bloviations emanating from that tiny Norwegian state in the upper reaches of Scandinavia, -barely a few generations out of the woods and fields- would hardly register a blip on any diplomatic radar screen. While there are many friendly Israel voices in Norway, the Tundra Tabloids knows many of them, they however, are outnumbered by the loons who think they are the sole arbiters of “truth and justice” on the planet.

Give em all a cape and goggles I say,

Let em parade around is style. In fact, full save-the-world gear should be standard attire for these creeps when it comes time to handing out Nobel prizes. The country’s political, social and media (self anointed) elite, sadly to say, (and apologies ahead of time to those Norwegians who are indeed sane and feel the same way as the TT)  are a joke, that can’t be taken seriously. Ayalon: Boycott of Israel is boycott of peace process

Deputy FM responds to Norwegian petition by 100 arts, cultural figures accusing Israeli educational institutions of apartheid.

Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon on Wednesday condemned a petition against Israel which was signed by one hundred famous Norwegians.

“Those who call for a boycott against Israel are in effect boycotting the peace process by automatically and unequivocally endorsing the Palestinian position and pushing them further away from the negotiating table,” Ayalon said in a statement. “We expect the Norwegian government to condemn this boycott.

The Norwegians, led by the country’s national soccer coach, signed a petition demanding a cultural and academic boycott of Israel, accusing its educational institutions of “playing a key role in the occupation” and equating it with apartheid.

Egil Drillo Olsen, coach for the national Norwegian soccer team, recently wrote in Aftenposten, the country’s second largest paper, that the call to boycott Israel was “in line with what 90 percent of the world’s population believes. There cannot be many other opinions.”

The petition is the last item in a string of similar and high-profile initiatives to have taken place in Norway over the past two years. It was signed by coach Olsen and 99 other public figures from the arts and culture arena, who stated that a boycott is “necessary” not only to help Palestinians, but also to “support Israelis opposing the occupation.”

Former Norwegian Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik said the boycott call was “unhelpful” and “not representative” of the current government’s policy.

Bondevik, who presided over the Norwegian government for seven years over the period 1997 until 2005 on behalf of the Christian Democratic Party, added that he wished to “reassure” Israelis that the “boycott is not an issue in Norway.”

  1. It is my sincere hope that ANYBODY who takes an interest in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and especially those who espouse a pro-Palestinian view, read Sir Martin Gilbert’s unbiased and meticulously researched work In Ishmael’s House.
Sir Gilbert is at pains, sometimes frustratingly so, to find every scrap of goodness or good intention directed toward the Jews in Ishmael’s House (i.e. Muslim controlled lands), as well as to elaborate upon the horrifying suppression and subjugation that pretty much destroyed every culture and religion that preceded it, bar one exception, Judaism, and the Jews.
As the name implies, Sir Gilbert does not question the proprietorship of those lands conquered and subjugated by Islam, but rather records the relationship that existed within them between the conquerers and the Jews living there (often for many centuries before the Arabs and Islam ever arrived).
To understand the condition of Apartheid that Jews have endured for 1400 years under Muslim rule will do much to re-frame your view of Israel and the vociferousness with which they defend their right to exist, as well as the deep mistrust they hold for Muslims and Islam in particular.
I was a supporter of the Palestinian cause and a denouncer of the State of Israel before reading this book, and it is with great shame that I admit it.

  2. What the fuck is ur problem?! Calling Norway a whole bunch of dumbasses u must have a lot of spare time calling writing so much of why Norway is a bunch of dumbasses. Oh! By the way ur a bitch!

    1. Hey Marcus, the following was included in the post:

“While there are many friendly Israel voices in Norway, the Tundra Tabloids knows many of them, they however, are outnumbered by the loons who think they are the sole arbiters of “truth and justice” on the planet.”

Face it, you’re one of the dumb asses.
