Evironmental disasters Obama

What gives here? Conservative talk show host, Mark Levin, makes an excellent observation as well as ask an excellent question. First the Obaminator:

“…and the Department of the Interior has announced that they will be sending Swat teamns to the Gulf to inspect all platforms and rigs.”
Mark Levin: “Swat teams from the Department of the Interior? When I was Deputy Secretary of the Interior Department (during the Reagan administration), I don’t remember any Swat teams. Now you heard hims say that the Department of the Interior was going to send Swat teams, I didn’t know that they had Swat teams. And by the way, as a side issue, I’m now guessing that many of these environmental and land agencies probably do have armed Swat teams, which is really stunning to me.”
What is going on here? The news agency ABC doesn’t even blink an eye, even changes the text to read SWAT TEAMS are being sent…not that the Department of the Interior is going to send them, let alone asking the question of why they’re sending Swat teams in the first place, they’re not experts in evironmental disasters. What’s going on here? KGS
An oil spill that threatened to eclipse even the infamous Exxon Valdez disaster spread out of control with a faint sheen washing ashore along the Gulf Coast Thursday night as fishermen rushed to scoop up shrimp and crews spread floating barriers around marshes.
The spill was bigger than imagined — five times more than first estimated — and closer. Faint fingers of oily sheen were reaching the Mississippi River delta, lapping the Louisiana shoreline in long, thin lines.
“It is of grave concern,” David Kennedy of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, told The Associated Press. “I am frightened. This is a very, very big thing. And the efforts that are going to be required to do anything about it, especially if it continues on, are just mind-boggling.”
Mr. Obama said SWAT teams were being dispatched to the Gulf to investigate oil rigs and said his administration is now working to determine the cause of the disaster.

  1. there are a lot of things that don't add up about this story. Why would the rig collapse? Even if there was an explosion the general structure should have stayed intact. In the photos it looks like it was hit by a bomb. or torpedo. and failsafes should have prevented it. Unless it was sabotage or intentional… perhaps a sub from one of our enemies.

And it happened on 4/20? talk about a date loaded with significance

  2. According to a rig operator speaking on the Mark Levin radio show (James) it was a sudden surge of gas that enveloped the rig and ignited somewhere on the rig.

    This wasn't a terrorist attack.

  3. I think it was sabotage. Have from the start. Perfect timing for o….and he has been after that oilfield since day 1….and how convenient for his cap and trade. I watched C-Span during the testimonies. You ask HOW could it be sabotage….easy…the head BP man and the head Transocean man ARGUED over procedure about an hour before all hell broke loose. Don't think they planted someone to do the dirty work?? I say HELL yes!!!
