YNET: Iran has moved ballistic missiles into launch positions, with Israel’s Dimona nuclear plant among the possible targets, the London-based Times newspaper reported Sunday, quoting defense sources.
According to the report, the movement of Shahab-3B missiles, which have an estimated range of more than 1,250 miles, followed a reported
large-scale exercise earlier this month in which the Israel Air Force flew en masse over the Mediterranean in an apparent rehearsal for a threatened attack on Iran’s nuclear installations.”One thing is for certain, barring a diplomatic breakthrough, Israel is not going to allow the Iranians to continue with its nuclear program until its able to join the nuclear bomb club. The Iranians can move their weapons around and rattle their sabers, but their recent moves have already been foreseen and taken into consideration in Israeli war gaming scenarios.
Of course, one way around all of this, would be for the international community to confront the Iranian regime in a meaningful way, by restricting Iranian oil from being refined abroad. The majority of its gasoline is refined elsewhere, and limiting its access to those refineries would bring an enormous amount of domestic pressure on its government to “change course”.
But the IC doesn’t have the stones to do it, they can’t even keep an embargo going against the Hamas, with all kinds of money being filtered into the IslamOparadise called Hamastan. So it looks like the Israelis will have to do the IC’s job once again. More here. *L* KGS
This is pure humanright case. Israel have to protect also palestinians from iranian threat. If Iran decide to use its missiles against Israel, it means death also to palestinians. (Send by Harrison)
