Israel Paleostinians Palestinian Misuse of Aid

The Absurd Reality of it All…….

Oh the lies they (Palestinians) tell, and the international media laps it up with a spoon. These are the kind of pictures floating around the media about the “blackout” in Gaza, in spite of the fact that the electricity has not been cut off. What chutzpah, but media activists must support their pet cause mustn’t they?

Tundra Tabloid contributor, Al Avai sends the following.

Friends, Picture this: the electric plant which supplies 70% of electricity to the Palestinians in Gaza is in Ashkelon. The Palestinians in Gaza have been shooting kassam rockets at the plant ever since the “disengagement” i.e. the abandonment of Gush Katif. Now, Palestinians are crying that they don’t have enough electricity. They are complaining about Israeli sanctions against them. They are going to the U.N.

The truth is, Israel has not stopped supplying electricity to Gaza. Not only that, but Israeli electric company employees are risking their lives to do so. Mickey Tsarfati, head of the union of electrical workers, was quoted in YNet: “It is unbelievable chutzpah for them to complain. We have not stopped supplying them with electricity for a minute. And they have not stopped logging bombs at us fora minute.”

Many of the workers who fix the lines to Gaza daily are residents of Sderot. It has happened more than once that bombs fell next to their homes as they were fixing the lines to supply electricity to the bombers. Now the U.N. and the Quartet, and the Arab League are all getting demands to stop Israeli “sanctions” against the Gazans….You tell me what other country would be supplying electricity to people who are bombing their children on a daily basis, and risking their lives to do so. In comparison to Finnish state news agency, YLE’s overt propaganda that the UN Security Council is convenening over the humanitarian crisis created in Gaza because of Israel’s closing of the borders, some Arabs however see it as it is. “Arab media blames Hamas for Gaza crisis

“A prominent Arab editor on Monday blamed Hamas for the ongoing crisis in the Gaza Strip, saying the Islamist movement had acted “stupidly” by firing rockets at Israel.

[…]

Abdel Rahman Rashed, a Saudi national serving as general manager of the pan-Arab Arabiya news channel, said Hamas was responsible for the suffering of some 1.5 million Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip. “Hamas committed a stupid act when it gave the Israelis an excuse to launch attacks in retaliation for a few antique rockets,” Rashed wrote in the London-based daily Asharq Al- Awsat.”

Prior to that, Hamas committed a big crime against the Palestinian people by overthrowing the Palestinian Authority [in the Gaza Strip]. The Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have suffered a lot because of Hamas’s actions. Hamas is bringing Israel back into the Gaza Strip after it was liberated by the Palestinian groups.”

The best one liner thus far, comes from the Israeli Prime Minister himself, Ehud Olmert: “No fuel? As far as I am concerned, all of Gaza’s residents can walk.” For once I can agree with the man. *L* KGS

Update: YLE foreign news desk editor, “Kruggs” responds to the Tundra Tabloids’ question as to why YLE refuses to report on Hamas’ diversion of electricity from the general public. In plain English, he chose to lie about it.

He states that “it’s a difficult and complicated situation“…. but when pressed for information on why Hamas’ role is not being reported on by the Finnish news station, he lies and said that YLE had done so, when it has not. When asked for an exact time and date for such a report –over the past five days– he states that he has to “get back to work“.

That’s the kind of bone headed news agency we have here, that can be 100% counted on to continue its brainwashing washing of Finnish society, without any fear whatsoever of being taken to task. Regardless of personal politics, that should frighten every Finn who gets wind of what goes on in that last bastion of Stalinist thinking.
