HS Disparages Israel While Egyptian Lynching Gets Free Pass…….

The Helsingin Sanomat (subscribers only) published an AP report today, that blasts Israel for refusing to accept more Sudanese refugees, while failing to mention the lynching of four Sudanese refugees by Egyptian border guards as they were trying to get into Israel.

Regardless of what one thinks of the refugee policy, the bias over what is reported and what isn’t, is amazingly clear. The HS wouldn’t want to run afoul with the Egyptians now would they?

I wonder why YLE’s reporter in Egypt, Sanna Negus, didn’t report on the lynching of the four hapless refugees either? Did she have the day off, or was her internet connection fouled? We’ll never know the answer to that one, but one thing is for sure, only a “certain type of news” will make its way to Finland for eventual publication. *L* KGS

Kumitonttu slam dunks it: “Despite they’re from Sudan, and it’s been generally agreed, that the refugees should be located as near as possible to the land of origin, they want to pass Islamistic Egypt to enter Jewish Israel. Doesn’t that tell anyone the essential matter in a nutshell? “

  1. I was looking the piece of news this morning, too. Despite they’re from Sudan, and it’s been generally agreed, that the refugees should be located as near as possible to the land of origin, they want to pass Islamistic Egypt to enter Jewish Israel. Doesn’t that tell anyone the essential matter in a nutshell?
