Lets face it, the Europeans couldn’t care less about Israel, and even less about the Iranian people who oppose the regime. If they did care, they’d realize that this deal is a death sentence for the Iranian people (it frees the regime’s hands to persecute them once they’ve achieved their nuke goals), and the severest existential threat Israel has ever faced.

The Finnish paper Aamulehti headlined its Iran article “A big step but only a first step.”

Finland’s Helsingin Sanomat wrote: “The negotiation creates a foundation for trust” and the talks are “ultimately a question of Iran ‘s nuclear program and its foreign policy. International status change is possible if Iran is genuinely prepared to convince foreign powers and the IAEA that its nuclear program is no longer a secret part of its military.”

How the European media view the Iran nuclear deal

BERLIN – French and German diplomacy played a role in securing an interim agreement with Iran to curb its nuclear ambitions, and the major news organizations in both countries on Monday largely reflected the approval of their political leaders for the six-month agreement.

France’s conservative daily Le Figaro wrote of “the French constancy in the treatment of the case. The deal is a success and precludes any ambiguity, thanks to French diplomacy’s hard work.”

The paper noted, “the French got the Americans to suspend the sanctions in the automotive industry.”

Serge Michel, the deputy editor of the left-leaning Le Monde, said, “The agreement meets all the Western expectations and the lifted sanctions are fairly minimal.”

The paper stressed that the US is on the right path to test the intentions of Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani.

Hammer meets anvil.

This is a remarkable big step forward along the path in getting the Heznazis included on the list of terrorist organizations. The steadfast doggedness of the reporting on this issue by the J’lem Post’s correspondent, Benjamin Weinthal, needs to noted and kudos given, real journalism is always to be commended.

NOTE: There is no doubt that there are many European politicians on the Left depressed over the recent developments, after spending much time in courting their followers here in Europe.

Dutch FM: EU will blacklist Hezbollah after probe

02/26/2013 01:06

Dutch foreign minister stresses Netherlands’ position on Lebanese organization, says Burgas findings will lead to blacklisting.

BERLIN – The Netherlands’ Foreign Minister Frans Timmermans stressed on Monday the Dutch position that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization and ought to be banned from European soil.

Separately, former Dutch foreign minister Uri Rosenthal outlined to The Jerusalem Post the mixed views about outlawing Hezbollah within the 27- member European Union.

“Hezbollah is a terrorist organization,” Timmermans said in a statement issued by the Dutch Embassy in Israel .

“Frans Timmermans has expressed concern at the findings of Bulgaria’s investigation into the deadly attack on a bus carrying Israeli tourists in Burgas in July 2012. Bulgaria concluded that the military wing of Hezbollah was responsible.

Mr. Timmermans sees this as confirmation of the Netherlands’ position that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization.

“We need to meet at EU level as soon as possible to discuss what consequences this should have,” the statement continued.

“This is the first time that an EU member state has established that Hezbollah is guilty of a terrorist attack on EU territory,” Timmermans said.

When calling an Islamonazi, an Islamonazi, is the right thing to do. Thanks Brian at Israelicool, and to Chanah for the H/T.

NOTE: I put this right up there with the Israeli Deputy Foriegn Minister, Danny Ayalon, seating Turkey’s ambassador to Israel, Oguz Celikkol, lower than himself in wake of the Turkish government inspired Mavi Marmara incident.

“In the Dagbladet editorial, the paper asked in connection with Syria, “Where are the Norwegian activists now? Why do no Norwegian health workers want to do an effort in parts of Syria controlled by the insurgents?” A translation of the article first appeared on the pro-Israel media watchdog website Tundra Tabloids. Dagbladet added, “But on the whole we can probably just conclude that this is an internal Arab conflict, where one cannot bash Israel. Thus Israeli authorities have a point when they criticize the world for neglecting the Syrian population.”

Thanks for reading the TT!

Shame on the JPOST, you know better.

Show me a “moderate Islamist” and I’ll show you a “moderate thug”. The media is using bogus labels because there’s nothing left them to do other than to admit the truth, that democracy in the ME and Maghreb will lead to fundamustards taking control of their societies. The media is shameless, the truth stares them in face and they take to making things up to cover their own rears. KGS

Islamist party claims Moroccan election win

11/26/2011 02:03

Moderate Islamist Justice and Development Party says it won the largest number of seats in parliamentary elections.

RABAT – The Justice and Development Party (PJD) said it had won the largest number of seats in Morocco’s parliamentary election on Friday.

“Based on reports filed by our representatives at polling stations throughout the country, we are the winners. We won Rabat, Casablanca, Tangier, Kenitra, Sale, Beni Mellal and Sidi Ifni to cite just a few,” Lahcen Daodi, second in command of the moderate Islamist party, told Reuters.

Palestinian Fakestinian pulse felt,
just before it blows

Boy what a shocker of a study, the more the US pushes the Jews to “make difficult choices”, the more those who will benefit from those “difficult choices” will seek to murder them who are making the “difficult choices”. Outside of the fact that the study reveals nothing new, what should be noteworthy is the fact that it’s taken for granted that if there’s going to be any “pressuring from Obama”, it’s going to be the on Jews, which is always the way it goes, no matter what US president sits in office, outside of Bush Jr. KGS
JPOST: A study of Palestinian social media commissioned by the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) highlights what it calls the “serious risks to Israeli security” that may occur should the US push too hard for a peace agreement.
The results were compiled from postings on various sites including Twitter, Youtube and other social media sources, and showcase a cross-section of views. These reflect, according to the study, the opinions of the Palestinian people, or at least, those who are computer literate.
The study, “Palestinian Pulse,” was conducted by Jonathan Schanzer and Mark Dubowitz, both employed by the FDD, and utilized ConStrat, a company that deploys military-grade technology on behalf of the US Central Command. Schanzer and Dubowitz said the following in an article on The National Interest:
“While polls are often designed to elicit specific responses, social media is largely free of outside manipulation. Most Palestinians write under pseudonyms, enabling them to discuss controversial issues without fear of retribution.” The overriding conclusion drawn from the 102 page report of the results was that “although the Palestinian web landscape is not devoid of users with moderate to liberal views, it is dominated by radicalism.”

Folks, take a look at how the German Foreign Minister and his Development Minister works. A friend relates the following to the Tundra Tabloids: “First they refuse to label Israel hatred within their party as modern anti-Semitism, but they are attacking Sarrazin who has merely expressed “philosemitic” comments about Jews.”

The political elite are hopeless, and that definitely means both sides of the aisle in European style politics. The multi-culti ‘PC’ elite are deeply entrenched in their multiculturalist project   (importing vast amount of anti-liberal Muslim immigrants) to the detriment of every European, and anyone who dares to speak up about it, or gasp, against it, will find themselves forced on a long walk off a very short pier.

Thilo Sarrazin is being railroaded in much the same way as Paul Wolfowitz was forced out of the World Bank, after his girl friend was given a raise in pay in the organization, an in spite of the fact that Wolfowitz himself asked that he be recused from any decision making processes concerning it. He was told by the ethics committee at the WB that it would not be a problem, then the trap was set, they immediately turned on him (because of all the planned changes he would bring to the WB) and had him sacked.
Sarrazin is being railroaded in much the same way, there is nothing of substance in the accusations against him, he is just one big pesky problem who they want to get rid of in order to please the Turks.  KGS

Thilo Sarrazin: Being railroaded am I

Former politician admits trying to ‘jolt’ Germans over Muslim integration.

BERLIN – “Everyone’s against Sarrazin!” was the headline that Bild,Germany’s largest daily newspaper, chose for its Tuesday issue. Deutsche Bundesbank board member Thilo Sarrazin has sharply criticized both German Muslims for failing to embrace integration and Islam for its tendency to lead to terror.
Sarrazin, 65, a former Social Democratic finance commissioner for Berlin state (2002- 2009), has become, according to some observers, the subject of a feeding frenzy by the German media and political establishment, which is turning an unconventional thinker into a pariah.
“What did he say that was so sensational? You can look up all the facts. You can see – Germany supposedly loves people who think outside the box. But Germans don’t trust non-conformist opinions. That’s why this witch-hunt is happening,” the well-known German-Jewish journalist Henryk M. Broder said.
While Turkish and Islamic organizations have accused Sarrazin of racism and damaging Germany’s reputation abroad, the prominent German- Turkish sociologist and best-selling author Necla Kelek, who has defended Sarrazin, introduced him at a Berlin press conference on Monday attended by roughly 300 journalists, a number normally reserved for Chancellor Angela Merkel’s infrequent press appearances.
Kelek said Sarrazin addressed “bitter truths” in his new book and the chattering classes have judged it without reading it.
What first triggered the controversy surrounding the publication of the book, Germany Abolishes Itself, which appeared in bookstores on Monday, were Sarrazin’s comments about Islam and Jews.
Regarding Islam, Sarrazin said, “No other religion in Europe makes so many demands. No immigrant group other than Muslims is so strongly connected with claims on the welfare state and crime. No group emphasizes their differences so strongly in public, especially through women’s clothing. In no other religion is the transition to violence, dictatorship and terrorism so fluid.”
While Sarrazin has tapped into a raw nerve among the politically and socially correct elites of Germany, which roundly slammed him for his language, his critique of Muslims and his right to articulate his views enjoy widespread support within mainstream German society. Polls have revealed extraordinary levels of approval for Sarrazin, ranging from 85 percent to 95% of those questioned.
The first edition of his 460- page book (25,000 copies) promptly sold out, and a second edition of 15,000 was quickly purchased, prompting a third edition (70,000) and a fourth (80,000) to be commissioned.
CNN Turkey said on its news site that “The Netherlands has their Gert Wilders. Germany has its Thilo Sarrazin.” Wilders, leader of the Party for Freedom in his country, has waged a campaign against political Islam in the Netherlands. The Sarrazin debate had dominated the Turkish press.
The furor associated with Sarrazin’s book has led to a bizarre wave of anti-intellectual hysteria, triggering leading German politicians and journalists to trash Germany Abolishes Itself without having read it. A bookstore in Hildesheim, 30 km. southeast of Hanover, announced the cancellation of Sarrazin’s first public reading on Thursday due to “security concerns” in connection with a group called “Alliance against the Right.”
The Alliance has urged on a poster that Sarrazin be kidnapped.

Frank Johansson:
“I decided to take down my blog because I appreciate that my comments were ill-judged and appear all the more so when taken out of context, and have obviously caused offence to many people although it was not my intention, at all, to cause such offence.”

Johansson had the chance during the Weinthal interview to distance himself from the translation of the word he used, “scum state”, throughout the interview, he’s now saying after the fact that it was taken out of context, with the design to blow things out of proportion. But (a) he refused to challenge the journalist who used the term more than once when questioning about it (I hear it was around 10 times) and (b) spoke of using similar highly charged wording when directing it against GWBush and others to prove he’s used vitriolic statements before while (c) then claiming later on that he hadn’t meant to offend anyone by the term.

He’s a disingenuous liar and anti-Israel bigot who issues anti-Semitic blurbs when he thinks the coast is clear and no one is looking (meaning anyone outside of Finland). He was caught red handed, and now is trying to back peddle without issuing an apology. How can such an organization expect to be recognized as credible, while they have such people at the helm? This is going to get even more interesting. KGS

NOTE: The fact that AI London employed the term “scum state” in Benny Weinthal’s latest report shows that AI agrees with the translation or at least understands that the phrase carries that meaning.

‘Israel is a scum state’ removed from Finnish paper’s site

Amnesty International disassociates itself from branch head’s blog.

BERLIN – A blog entry in a Finnish newspaper’s Web site by the head of country’s Amnesty International branch, Frank Johansson, which termed Israel a “scum state,” is no longer online following an inquiry into the matter by The Jerusalem Post.
Speaking from Helsinki, Asmo Halinnen, head of Iltalehti’s Web section, told the Post Wednesday that “he [Johansson] removed the blog post,” adding that “All of the blog writings on our site are the opinion of the writer.”
When asked if there is a policy barring anti-Semitic and racist blogs, Halinnen referred the query to Iltalehti’s editor-in-chief, Kari Kivelä . The top editor did not immediately reply to an e-mail query and telephone call.
The Post reported Wednesday about the blog, which prompted a flurry of activity at AI’s headquarters in London.
In an e-mail to the Post on Wednesday, Johansson wrote, “I decided to take down my blog because I appreciate that my comments were ill-judged and appear all the more so when taken out of context, and have obviously caused offence to many people although it was not my intention, at all, to cause such offence.”
He added “I am especially conscious, and regret that my ill-judged action may be detrimental to Amnesty International’s work on Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories and the valiant human rights work being undertaken by my colleagues working for Amnesty International in Israel.”
Amnesty spokeswoman Susanna Flood said, “Johansson remains as the director of Amnesty International in Finland.
“Obviously, we regret it if such a term was used by an individual whose personal views could be misunderstood as reflecting those of Amnesty International, and we disassociate Amnesty International fully and clearly from such comments and we are making this clear to Mr Johansson,” Flood told the Post. “Amnesty International has never described Israel as a ‘scum state’ or used any such terms to describe Israel,” she added.
Finnish media watchdog site, Tundra Tabloids, which exposed the blog on Monday, said that the post’s removal was “not good enough, there needs to be a full apology coming from AI chairman Frank Johansson.”

Obama: Gee Moody, why would they think that?

Israelis know what most American Jews should know already, that Obama is not friendly towards the Jewish state of Israel. When looking at the people he (Obama) surrounds himself with, one can only conclude that he has it in for the Jewish state. Pamela Geller from Atlas Shrugs went on a tour of Florida to help reverse the damage of the pro-Obama campaign, but to little avail, the message had already been accepted that Obama would not throw Israel under the bus. We all know now that the warnings by Geller and the rest of us who follow closely these issues were correct. KGS

JPOST: US President Barack Obama’s efforts to reach out to the people of Israel last week – when he hosted Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for a positive meeting at the White House and gave his first interview as president to an Israeli television station – were not very successful, according to a Smith Research poll for The Jerusalem PostWhen asked whether they saw Obama’s administration as more pro-Israel, more pro- Palestinian or neutral, just 10 percent of Israeli Jews said more pro-Israel, 46% said more pro-Palestinian, 34% said neutral and 10% did not express an opinion.

NOTE: The only thing Israel can do is to wait for the Republicans to gain both houses then eventually the White House, and give Obama the cold shoulder in a not to open sort of way.
