Bulldozers are expected to destroy a large portion of a refugee camp in Calais on Friday, January 15, after police gave refugees and migrants living there the order to move into newly-built housing. More than 1,500 refugees in the camp are refusing to move into the new homes, which are formed from converted shipping containers, because they have reportedly not been consulted on the matter and have been given too little time to make the move.
