Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal: “Take our “peace” offer or leave it“But that’s the way of the prophet of Islam right! Offer terms that the infidel can’t accept, so the continuous war of Jihad can be waged upon them when they don’t accept it. Either submit to our terms, or face a continued state of war. That’s the Jihad.JW: “The universalism of Islam, in its all-embracing creed, is imposed on the believers as a continuous process of warfare, psychological and political, if not strictly military. . . . The Jihad, accordingly, may be stated as a doctrine of a permanent state of war, not continuous fighting.” — Majid Khadduri Arab peace offer not open-ended: Saudi FM
Sharm El-Sheikh. Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal warned Israel on Monday that an Arab initiative for Middle East peace could not remain on the table for ever AFP informs. “The peace initiative was launched at the Beirut summit in 2002 but it did not meet with any Israeli response,” the Saudi prince told an international aid conference in Egypt to raise funds to rebuild the devastated Gaza Strip. “Israel… must realise that the choice between war and peace cannot be open-ended, and that the initiative will not remain forever on the table.”The initiative calls for a full normalisation of relations between Arab states and Israel in exchange for a full Israeli withdrawal from Arab land, the creation of a Palestinian state and an “equitable” solution for Palestinian refugees.
NOTE: There is a good reason why the Israelis have approached the Saudi offer with great suspicion, it does not talk of 100% full recognition of the Jewish state of Israel, with an exchange of embassies, as well as leaving a very wide, gaping hole to the possibility of forcing Israel to take in 200 000 actual Arab refugees and their millions of decedents. That’s just for starters. The Saudis have made it clear that its an all or nothing proposal, which makes it a non-starter from the git-go. KGS
