The highly utopian vision and project of a “United Europe” has become something that it was never meant to be, or at least in public declarations, a very federalized European state. This highly undemocratic enterprise was built on the model of Belgium, an artificial construct in its own right, and has become everything that Belgium has come to represent, a gross failure engineered by corrupt political manipulators.
But also accompanying this utopian enterprise is the decision by Europe’s political elite to tie Europe to the non-democratic Muslim Middle-East, flood its borders with cheap labor and a base from which the socialists can count on to help keep them and their social engineering enterprise in power.
I look to the below statement found on a EU web page with sadness. It’s not a federalized European state (that has become the antithesis of pluralistic democracy) that holds the answers to centuries of war, but the strong individual democratic states themselves that are the bulwark for defending civil liberties and maintaining peace and freedom….and no war on the continent.
“On the 9th of May 1950, Robert Schuman presented his proposal on the creation of an organised Europe, indispensable to the maintenance of peaceful relations. This proposal, known as the “Schuman declaration”, is considered to be the beginning of the creation of what is now the European Union.
Today, the 9th of May has become a European symbol (Europe Day) which, along with the flag, the anthem, the motto and the single currency (the euro), identifies the political entity of the European Union. Europe Day is the occasion for activities and festivities that bring Europe closer to its citizens and peoples of the Union closer to one another.”
The Tundra Tabloids is taking a brief pause in the blogging until next Wednesday, in order to help counter the disastrous politics that has resulted in an infringement of our basic of rights and freedoms…free speech and the right to criticize wrong policies and ideologies. My very best to you all. *L* KGS
