Asylum seekers Fight and cause Damage to Center
After a game of soccer groups of asylum seekers have been fighting between themselves at their center in Overberg. Tens of police officers from various offices had to be brought in and even a police helicopter was required. Major damage was caused to the center.
The reason was a disagreement over a game of football, writes RTL Nieuws. The game was not appreciated by all asylum seekers.

In a refugee center in Utrecht Overberg on Thursday eight fights between groups of asylum seekers broke out. Two migrants have been injured, two others have been arrested.
The situation got completely out of hand. Police officers from different regions were to provide support to keep asylum seekers apart. There was even a helicopter deployment.
After midnight had two groups of asylum seekers quarrel with each other, which led to a violent confrontation. Local officers managed to bring the situation under control in the first place.

The first fight began around 00:30 pm, on the premises of the asylum center.There was a ball kicked by a particular group, and that was not appreciated by another group.
This was followed by the two groups’ heavy fighting. Agents separated the groups apart. It was then quiet again.
Powder extinguishers and bed frames
Still, around 2:30 pm it had started again. The brawl flared up again and some 50 people came to blows. “It was really huge,” said a police spokesman told RTL Nieuws.
The asylum seekers were using anything and everything to hit and harass each other. “Bed bases, powders, chains, sticks”, says the spokesman. It is also caused damage.
