I have been long on record being against multiculturalism, which is nothing more than statist driven balkanization of the civil society, pitting one group against the other (dangling largess and special rights) while they divide and rule. The U.S. has never been a ”multicultural country”, and until in recent modern history, its melting pot /multi-ethnic civil society was the shining crown of its success as a nation.
Like I keep telling people, within an either multi-ethnic society, or within an almost exclusive homogeneous one, the underlying unity of the nation is the celebration of one culture, be it the American culture or Finnish culture, but it doesn’t mean it comes at the expense of the individual’s cultural heritage, which may, or may not be, celebrated by choice of the said individual, privately, and even at times publicly (St.Patricks Day being one shining example of public display of a portion of that societies ethnic heritage).
We have seen what multiculturalism has done to societies, it balkanizes, fractures and serves the purposes of short sighted statist driven temporary politicians and their lobbying groups. In the end, it leads the civil society from the idea of the nation state (which has seen to the raising of the standard of living of all peoples, to that of tribalism, where the idea of the individual and individual rights, is strange and foreign concept. This is what group rights driven statism is leading us, and why it needs to be defeated at all cost, it’s anti-enlightenment and therefore, post-modern and dangerous.

NOTE: Sold a bad bill of goods by the Leftist academy and the Leftist media, these whiners can’t see the trees for the forest. Being Finninized or Americanized is not a racist idea, it’s the glue that holds the pot together. What these morons are pushing is a sledgehammer to the nation state and all we are left with is a pile of scattered shards.

A political opponent asked me today in a mocking tone, “Well, do you still resist multiculturalism?” He apparently, and quite genuinely, believed that the persecution over the last few days had gotten me to change my mind. I replied to him that I have opposed mass immigration, multiculturalism and its supporting ideology, multiculturalism, always openly since I stepped into politics and in The Finns Party activities in 2005 and I continue to oppose them. In addition to notification of all that, in spite of the belief, and current party chairman, including The Finns party has responded until now generally critical of multiculturalism, as well as to the downfall of the Finnish people and their culture. Media and old ruling class strive to make every effort now that me and in the future also other noisy multiculturalism opponents, who do not agree with being a lapdog of the multicultural elite, obtain either a permanent muzzling or getting them kicked out of The Finns Party.
