Forget about the actual story, I just want to address the outrageous ‘journalistic’ practice of disingenuous simplicity. They do this constantly in reporting on the Arabs’ war against Israel, use terms to label groups that have no actual credibility whatsoever. Just take a look at this stupid sentence:
”Iranian and US officials have been trying to persuade hardliners in both countries to back the deal.”
What is a US ‘hardliner’ supposed to be, someone who rejects blind acceptance of an agreement with a iron fisted regime bent on the destruction of not only Israel, but of the US as well? Using their own misguided logic, the BBC would then have to conclude that Sir Winston Churchill was a ‘hardliner’ in his views of the Nazis, that he rejected any deal with them.
Hardliner!
