Crimes against persons
- In 2014 reported 260,000 crimes against persons (3-7 Chap. Penal Code), which is 4 percent more than in 2013 (+10,500 reported crimes).
- Assault-related crimes increased by 4 percent (+2950 reported crimes). The largest increases were noted for assault against women 18 years or older and abuse against children 7-14 years. They increased by 1400 (+5 percent) and 1090 (+12 per cent) more crimes in 2014 over the previous year.
- Notified molestation rose 5 percent to 57,500 reported crimes. The largest increase was noted for the molestation of women 18 years or older where 1790 more crimes, or 6 percent, were reported over the previous year.
- Although illegal threats rose 5 percent to 51,000 crimes. The largest increases for the reporting of illegal threats are against man and woman aged 18 years or older: 1170 and 920 crimes (6 resp. 5 percent).
- They reported rapes increased by 11 percent to 6,700 crimes. Reported offenses of gross violations of women decreased to 2,000 reported crimes (-7 percent), while gross violation of integrity increased to 1,770 reported crimes (+2 percent).
