Obama Obama-Gate US politics

Leaving out: ”and for only one party to vote for”.

Stunning isn’t it?

It has only taken six years for the entirely unthinkable to be spoken out loud, and by a sitting president no less, this jackass of a president. He states that it would be ”transformative”, and you can bet that that would be the case, in helping him to further transform the United States of America into a total 3rd rate, lacklustre, backwater of a country.

He starts off by stating that ”we shouldn’t be making it harder to vote, we should be making it easier to vote”.

This is pure demagogic bull crap. The various states in the union demanding some kind of voter ID (to ensure the integrity of the vote) already offer free ID cards, and this is somehow ”suppressing the vote” for Obama and his fellow ideologues in the Democrat party. They really do hold the average voter with contempt.

NOTE: Check out how he pronounces ”Selma”, and imagine what the media would do if a white president, lets say GWBush, would have pronounced it like that. It would be on a continuous 24/7  news loop,  with pundits and comedians running it into the ground.

Obama: Maybe it’s time for mandatory voting

(CNN)The president whose major policy achievement is mandatory health insurance thinks maybe voting should be mandatory, too.

Asked how to offset the influence of big money in politics, President Barack Obama suggested it’s time to make voting a requirement.

“Other countries have mandatory voting,” Obama said Wednesday in Cleveland, where he spoke about the importance of middle class economics, and was asked about the issue during a town hall.

“It would be transformative if everybody voted — that would counteract money more than anything,” he said, adding it was the first time he had shared the idea publicly.

The clout of millionaires and billionaires in campaign funding has been enormous, and many claim the uber wealthy have undue leverage in politics.

NOTE II: CNN fails to mention the clout of millionaires and billionaires (and labor unions) in campaign funding for the Democrats who have immense impact on funnelling votes for their candidates.
