HMF court acquits accused prosecuted for comparing “Allahu akbar” with a donkey with stomach pain

LAW & RIGHT. A 38-year old man was acquitted yesterday by the Nyköping District Court after being charged with hate speech for having compared a bunch of Muslim fundamentalists who chanted “Allahu akbar”, with a donkey having a stomach pain.
“It is not normal to wake up to a donkey whose stomach hurts” – so wrote the nyvakne man on Facebook last summer after being woken by Muslims in the morning in Nyköping, where a large number of Muslim fundamentalists stood and chanted “Allahu akbar “in a speaker system.
The prosecution chose to proceed with an investigation, not against Muslims but against the man who was believed to have expressed disparaging remarks about Muslims were prosecuted by the political views crime of “hate speech”.
Yesterday the Nyköping District Court chose to free him from criminal accusations. The Court does not believe that the man mocked religion of Islam with a religious manifestation, something that is permitted.
