After the terrorist attacks in Paris and Copenhagen Western politicians with their million strong Muslim population, have been busy assure that terror has nothing to do with Islam.
Denmark’s Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt (S) been out to avow that the terrorist attack in Copenhagen should not be mixed with religion and that the shootings is not about a battle between Muslims and non-Muslims.
“It is a struggle between freedom and a dark ideology that will make Denmark hurt,” she said, according to DR News.
Without wishing to explain what it is the ideology, she refers to, if it is not Islam.
David Cameron: “Islam is a religion of peace”
In an article, in The Washington Times, prominent commentator Daniel Pipes, collected a number of statements made by prominent Western politicians about terrorism and Islam.
Thus says President Barak Obama, according to Daniel Pipes, that ISIS is not Islamic, as its “actions do not represent a belief, least of all the Muslim faith.”, And in England sounds similar tones.
Here, the conservative British prime minister, David Cameron, rushes to assure that ISIS is “extremists who want to misuse Islam” and he calls Islam a “religion of peace”.
Also in France, leading politicians were busy for a month denying the link between Islam and terrorism.
Here declares French President Francois Hollande, to the terrorists who carried out a massacre against employees on the Charlie Hebdo and attack the Jewish supermarket HybER Cacher “the web has nothing to do with Islam,” and Prime Minister Manuel Valls follows suit: “Islam has nothing to do with Islam “.
Muslim rule over non-Muslims
After these and a number of other similar statements from the western state men Daniel Pipes concludes that the statements “springs directly from the Islamic game plan: Islam is only a religion of peace, as violence and barberism has categorically nothing to do with it,” states Daniel Pipes among other and continues:
“But this interpretation ignores, of course, the Islamic scriptures and Muslim history, both of which are permeated by suspicions of hegemony over non-Muslims and legitimate violence of jihad,” emphasizes Daniel Pipes and states:
“Ironically, this means ignoring the Islamic force that excludes the best tool to fight jihadism, because if the problem does not arise from an interpretation of Islam but of random evil and irrational impulses, how can you cope with it?”
And Daniel Pipes provides the answer:
“Only the realization of the Islamic imperialist heritage can open the way to a reinterpretation of faith scriptures in a modern, moderate and neighbor-friendly way.”
Cowardice and multuikulturalisme
Why makes powerful politicians as the kind of ignorant and counterproductive arguments they definitely know is false, especially now that the violent Islamism spreads, think of Boko Haram, Al-Shabaab and the Taliban? asks Daniel Pipes and gives the answer:
“Cowardice and multiculturalism plays certainly a role, but there are two other causes of even greater importance.”
“For the first they do not want to offend Muslims, which they fear is more prone to violence if they feel that non-Muslims out ‘war against Islam’.”
“Secondly, they are concerned that the focus on Muslims will mean fundamental changes in the secular order, while a denial of the Islamic element provides an opportunity to avoid problematic issues.”
