The Syrian opposition has released a video on Sunday night purporting to show Israel’s alleged strike on Syrian military targets near Damascus.

According to reports by the Syrian opposition cited by Channel 2, ten explosions were heard following theattack on military targets near Damascus. It is likely that some of them were of the attack itself, and others weresecondary explosions. Various reports listed a total offour aircraft sorties.

Syrian state television said on Sunday that Israeli jets had bombed areas near Damascusinternational airport and in the town of Dimas, near the border with Lebanon.

“The Israeli enemy committed aggression against Syria by targeting two safe areas in Damascus province, in all of Dimas and near the Damascus International Airport,” state television said, adding that there were no casualties.

Residents in Damascus said they heard loud explosions.The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which tracks the conflict, said that 10 explosions were heard near Dimas.

According to foreign reports the attack targeted a warehouse of advanced S-300 missiles, which were en route from Syria to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
