A SYDNEY teenager who told his mother he was leaving on a fishing trip in June has turned up in a chilling video for the Islamic State, threatening Tony Abbott and declaring war on the West.
In the video, posted to YouTube last night, 17-year-old Abdullah Elmir from Bankstown is dressed in military gear and holding a rifle surrounded by dozens of other young jihadists.
The red-haired teenager, speaking under the name “Abu Khaled”, addresses the two-minute propaganda video to “the people of America … the people of Britain … and especially to the people of Australia”.

‘Ginger jihadist’… Abdullah Elmir’s parents haven’t seen him since June, soon after his 17th birthday.
In it, he says ISIS will not stop its depraved crusade until its black flag flies all over the world, including above the White House.
“I say this about your coalition: you threaten us with your countries, bring every nation that you wish to us, bring every nation that you want to come and fight us,” he said in the video.
“Whether it’s 50 nations or 50 thousand nations it means nothing to us.”

Holding court … The ginger-haired Australian teenager is front and centre in the latest ISIS propaganda video.
The video marks the first time Prime Minister Tony Abbott has been mentioned by name in an ISIS propaganda tape.
A spokesman for the Prime Minister said the video “again highlights the threat posed by ISIL”.
“As the Prime Minister has said on many occasions, ISIL is a threat that reaches out to Australia and our allies and partners.
“That is why Australia has joined the Coalition to disrupt and degrade ISIL in Iraq and is giving our law enforcement and security agencies the powers and resources they need to keep Australia and Australians as safe as possible.”
“Australians should continue to be confident to go about their daily lives as normal.”
In the video, Khaled pledges that ISIS “will not stop fighting”.
“We will not put down our weapons until we reach your lands, until we take the head of every tyrant and until the black flag is flying high in every single land, until we put the black flag on top of Buckingham Palace, until we put the black flag on top of the White House.”
