Truth teller, Islam = intolerance of the other.
It’s one of the inconvenient truths about Islam, having the hindsight of the reformation of the Catholic Church, Protestantism, and the liberal society that ensued, Muslims know the dangers of a free and liberal society where one has the right to choose one’s own destiny. Having that hindsight, it’s just another factor why Islam will always prove to be resistant to any change towards modernity.
TURKISH OFFICIAL: CHRISTIANITY MORE OF A ‘CULTURE’ THAN A RELIGION
Christianity is no longer a religion, former Turkish official Erdogan Bayraktar said at a recent conference sponsored by Turkey’s ruling (AKP) party.
Bayraktar, Turkey’s Environment and Urbanism Minister until December 2013, said at the conference:
The biggest three countries in the world are not Muslim countries. China, India–only the U.S. believes in a single God. Spirituality and religious feelings are weakening. … There are 2.5 billion Christians in the world. Christianity is no longer a religion. It’s a culture now. But that is not what a religion is like. A religion teaches; it is a form of life that gives one peace and happiness. That is what they want to turn [Islam] into as well.
Islamic terrorism expert and Jihad Watch best-selling author Robert Spencer weighed in on the Minister’s controversial comments. He said, “In other words, he is telling his audience to be on guard against those who try to water down, or should we say moderate, the teachings of Islam. Those teachings, including, presumably, the teachings of jihad warfare against unbelievers and their subjugation under the rule of Islamic law.” Spencer added, “Coming from an official of the ostensibly secular regime in Turkey, this is a noteworthy statement: he is essentially saying that Turkish secularism, which restricts key aspects of Islam, must be opposed.”
Sadly there are only a few ways to stop this from becoming a world wide catastrophe.
1 is to convince those Muslims who are unhappy with the way their religion is being portrayed by terrorists and others who also have evil on their mind in making Islam an unpeaceful religion towards others, is to become Christian or other religion thats peaceful like Buddism, or to start up a new religion under a different name perhaps, that deletes out the bad verses and the Sharia Law in a new version of the Koran.
2 would be to tell those who weren’t born in your country and don’t have citizenship for your country to move out to a Muslim country.
3 would be to ‘drop a hiroshima’ on all Muslim countries which would sadly wipe a lot of good Muslims too who only want peace, but it would give survivors a chance at a new life and making changing as suggested in no 2.
4 Pray that God is awake and has His plan at the ready as it says in the Bible. He really is the only one to put things right for all of mankind who deserve it, Muslim or other wise.
