BERLIN—Fresh trouble hit Berlin’s long-delayed new airport on Tuesday, when the airport operating company said prosecutors are investigating a manager who was in charge of awarding contracts over an alleged bribe worth about €500,000 ($682,000).
The opening of Berlin Brandenburg International is years behind schedule and alleged mismanagement of the city’s flagship project has proved a national embarrassment.
