IGNORAMUS UN SEC-GEN BAN KI MOON SAYS JEWISH HOMES IN JUDEA & SAMARIA ILLEGAL…….

UN chief’s mind numbing stupidity/corruption.

Actually the facts speak otherwise, San Remo conference gave birth to the Jewish state of Israel, not the UN General Assembly vote in 1948. The area of Judea and Samaria were deemed as part of the original Jewish homeland (so too was the land east of the Jordan river, but given to the Arabs and to be led by the Hashmites). Israeli homes/presence in these areas are entirely legal.

(ANSAmed) – TEL AVIV, JANUARY 10 – The Israeli Housing Ministry announced tenders Friday for the construction of 1,400 housing units for Jewish settlers: 600 in East Jerusalem and 800 in the West Bank, reported settlers’ radio Channel 7. The measure had been announced by the media at the beginning of the month, but Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu subsequently ordered a brief postponement to prevent problems with a visit underway at that time by US Secretary of State John Kerry, who is attempting to broker a peace agreement between Israelis and Palestinians.

The Housing Ministry has also proposed once again tenders for the construction of 500 other housing units in East Jerusalem, which had been issued in the past but not finalized. Among the settlements involved in the latter are the heavily populated Efrat, Betar Illit and Ariel, which are located in large, homogeneous Jewish settlements in the West Bank that Israel has no intention of giving up.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday said he is ”alarmed” at Israel’s plans: ”They are not only illegal, they are an obstacle to peace”, Ban said at the year’s first conference at UN headquarters in New York
