Shots fired at German ambassador’s residence in Athens, nobody injured

By Yiannis Souliotis

More than 20 shots were fired at the gate of the German ambassador’s residence in Halandri, northeastern Athens, in a pre-dawn attack on Monday.

The raid took place at around 3.30 a.m. but did not cause any injuries or significant damage to the building on Ethnikis Antistaseos Street.

Police sources said that the guard at the residence of Ambassador Wolfgang Dold saw four people open fire at the gate using AK-47 assault rifles. Bullets were found embedded in the steel gate.

The Anti-terrorist squad is investigating the incident and has taken six people in for questioning. CCTV footage is also being examined.

  1. Maybe OT. Maybe not. It’s probable that it was muslims and I just stumbled on a coincedence that lead to something interesting involving something unreladed. But we won’t know until they say or describe who did it.

The ak 47s and the fact that it was an attack at all, and considering the world today my first assumption was muslims. My second thought was communists because it’s Germany and Greece and the ak-47s. Also nobody was killed even though the incident had the air of violence.

However the article mentions November 17 Revolutionary Group (they fired a rocket at the building in 1999). Did a google search. Marxist Terrorist group from 1975 to 2002 (maybe). The group assassinated 23 people in 103 attacks on U.S., British, Turkish and Greek targets. Named after 17 November 1973, the date of the Athens Polytechnic uprising in 1973, a day of revolt against the Greek Military Junta.

People don’t tend to think of it but Greece was one of the fronts of the cold war right from the end of WWII. Civil wars between conservatives and communists, shady CIA elections etc.

Now here’s where it gets interesting. When googling November 17, one of the links that came up was “November 17th Day of Action |”. Supposedly named that because it marked the 2 month annaversery of the beginning of the protests. Obvious Bull. It doesn’t take into account all the other planning etc and, duh, they CHOSE which day to start it on.

What a coincedence. As with everything else they did, OWS had a phoney reason for doing something and then under that a wink wink nudge nudge reason. And once again (like the “consensus” malarky) that wink wink is towards communists.

  2. Posted a comment but don’t see it.

Article says the last group to do something was November 17 revolutionary group. Active from 1973 to 2002 (maybe). The MARXIST terrorist group was (is?) named after a November 17, 1973 protest. Killed about 103 people over about 25 years.

Greece was one front during the cold war starting right after WWII. Civil wars btw conservatives and communists, shady CIA elections etc.

Looking up the group I found that OWS did a “November 17th day of action”. Ostensibly to mark the 2 month annavarsery of the beginning of the protests but obvious bull. As usual with OWS, there is a superficial reason and then, if you know about the cold war, a second underlying reason that points directly at communists.
