On second thought, it might very well be the feminazis at work, not just out of concern for Muslim sensibilities. After talking it over with Vlad, I’m in agreement that the feminist movement is conflicted, reactionaries who are for the most part not in it for the sake of ideology, but for the thrill of being against whatever the status quo is at the moment.
NOTE: If it was a Christian pastor demanding the removal of the painting, there would be the reflexive ”digging in of the heels” by this same clod. Sweden is a very conflicted state.
House speaker removes painted breasts

The deputy speaker of Sweden’s Riksdag has tired of the bare breasts adorning the walls in parliament and has ensured the removal of the offending painting from the parliament’s dining room.

“You have to think of the foreign guests, especially those from Muslim countries,” the source explained.
But after a little more digging it emerged that the concerns of foreign dignitaries were a secondary consideration and the fate of Juno had in fact been sealed by a more domestic concern.
“I think it is more a feminist issue. It’s tiresome (looking at) a bare-breasted woman when I sit at public dinners with foreign guests. I think it feels a little hard to sit there with men who look at us women,” Social Democrat Susanne Eberstein explained.
