Tommy Robinson leader of the English Defence League discusses recent events including the brutal murder of Lee Rigby by islamic extremists. Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer who will be visiting the UK to pay there respects to Lee Rigby are also discussed .
I can’t but admire Tommy Robinson’s stoicism and dogged determination in fronting up to the closed minds of people like this BBC interviewer – supercilious, shallow, uncomprehending, egregiously biased, and steeped in self-deception.
The clip reminds me of Don McLean’s Vincent (Starry, Starry Night) and the haunting refrain: “They would not listen, they did not know how, perhaps they’ll listen now”.
That’s the hope – that the media will begin to listen – that’s the hope – but the total refusal to face the facts is so discouraging.
But we live in hope.
Well done Tommy – you are a star in the true sense even though such thoughts a far far from your mind.
